A few weeks later, Grell was on a strict probation. I continued in my normal duties as usual, doing my job correctly and sufficiently. Today for some reason seemed to go very slowly compared to normal. Maybe I was tired or something but I swear it felt like a week had gone by in that single day. After I finished reaping the last soul for today I reported back to headquarters to turn in the souls. Will took me to the Grim Reaper Library to sort the souls I collected and place them in their correct spots. As I did so, I heard a sudden irrupting crash noise. Suddenly Ronald ran in "There's an intruder!!" he said sounding panicked. I turned to the large doors he just came from and heard the crashing noises growing louder from that room.
"Ronald, go get Will while I hold off the intruder!" I said picking up my death scythe. After Ronald left to warn Will, I stood near the door in a battle stance, ready to fight. I tightened my grip on my scythe as the sounds of booms and crashes grew extremely close. Suddenly the doors burst open, letting a ton of smoke and dust escape the room. When I looked into the smoke filled room, I spotted the shadow of a tall dark figure. His dark aura was intensely noticeable. "Hold it right there!" I ordered. As some of the smoke cleared I noticed some rather familiar features.
The intruder was tall with raven black hair, luminescent red eyes and an unmistakable black tailcoat. I stared at him in slight shock. He chuckled as that sly signature smirk of his spread across his face. "I knew we would soon meet again, (Y/N)." Sebastian said charmingly as he stared into my eyes.
