I got up to take a shower while Dan still lay down in bed. I was looking for my dress when he said:
- Annie, if you want a t-shirt and shorts I can borrow you them. Maybe they'll be a little oversized... it's that a problem?
- Aw Dan, thanks, but there's no need. - He gets his face off the pillow and looks at me.
- Hey, yes, there's a need! Now you choose what tee you want or I'll get one myself. - We laugh and I give in.
- Okay, Dan. Thanks. But you pick one. - He gets up and looks around his wardrobe.
- Hmm... do you like To Kill a King?
- Yeah.
- Here it is. - He hands me a black and white tee where you could read the name of the band; he also gives me his smallest shorts, exactly my size.
- Oh, it seems like our butts have the same measures. - Dan says and smiles. I laugh.
- Thank you, Dan. You are really nice. - He smiles sweetly at me.
I turn around to go the bathroom when he grabs my wrist.
- Anna, I have to ask you something. - We're both nervous.
- Y... yeah? - Oh, nice, I'm stuttering now.
- Are you homosexual? I mean, I am totally fine with that. I just wanted to know, because we are friends and the way you kissed Lana last night was just so-
- No. No, I'm not. - I cut him. - I mean, I don't know. I've only been with two guys before and always wanted to be with a girl. I don't know.
- What felt better for you? Kissing a guy or a girl?
- Well... it was better with Lana because she is a great kisser. - I smile. - But I don't know, Dan. I like boys, too. I've been in love with guys far too many times.
- Have you ever... like, slept with a guy? - He's being cautious now.
- No, I haven't. - I smile weirdly. He caresses my cheek.
- Alright, go take your shower.
Dan's P.O.V.
I couldn't believe Anna was still a virgin. She is gorgeous. I mean, of course she should wait for that special guy and stuff, but still... she's seventeen, by this time there should be a guy who truly liked her.
Just like I do.
I try to stop thinking about it and head towards the living room and I get scared when I listen voices coming from the kitchen. Then I remember Lana and the boys were still here.
''Dumb shit, how do you get scared so easily?'' I think to myself.
- Hey sleepy Dan. - Lana greets me and comes for a hug. Then I realize I was still in my boxers and just with a tee. - Won't you get dressed?
- I'll take a shower after Anna. - The guys looked at me weirdly. - And no, you bitches, you've seen me like this a thousand times! I won't get dressed just for you idiots.
- No need to be agressive. - Kyle pretends to be offended.
- Sorry, baby. - I hug him and we laugh.
- That's so gaaaay. - Lana says behind the fridge door.
- Shut up. - Kyle looks evily at her.
I take a look at the kitchen and realize we have nothing for breakfast.
- Damn, nothing to eat. - Will says from the other side of the kitchen.
- Yeah... but hey, I found flour, sugar, eggs and milk. We could make PANCAKES! - Woody screams in victory.
