7: I'm Turning To A Monster

I wake up with my head on something soft and warm and with my legs entwined with someone else's legs. I slide my hands through it and immediately think: "Dan."

I open my eyes and look up to see a happy Dan fast asleep. Weird that I'm naked and he got his boxers on. There's a cat between us... Meg.

I get up and I check the hour: 9:30am. I woke up early, considering I got really tired from last night.

I look at the window; there are water drops on the glass and grey clouds on the sky. Perfect rainy day.

I go take a shower.

Dan's P.O.V.

I wake up with a soft voice coming from the bathroom.

"Yes, of course

I remember, how could I forget

I get up and go towards the bathroom. I slip my boxers down and get in the shower with Anna.

It's 11am and I am lying down on the sofa, texting Woody. Anna is in the kitchen baking cupcakes.

"Hey man. We have to do that sound check today for the gig on Saturday. You haven't forgot, right?" Shit, I actually did. But I wouldn't tell him that.

"Yeah, I haven't. At what time do I have to be there?"

"Umm, 2pm, I think. I'll check with Kyle."

"Can Anna come with us?"

"Sure! She is really sweet. You are one lucky bastard hahah"

"I know. She is just amazing. And she is gorgeous!"

"Sure she is. I gotta go now, later I'll text you the hour of the sound check."

"Alright, mate."

I look around and Penny jumps on my tighs. I giggle and caress her belly.

- Hey, Annieeee...

- Yeah?

- Do you have any plans for today?

- No... why?

I put Penny on the ground, get up and run to the kitchen; I hug Anna from behind. She giggles.

- I have this sound check for a gig I forgot about... it's today at 2pm. I want you to go with me, sweetie.

She turns around to face me and her eyes were glowing like the sun.

- Re... really? - Anna stuttered.

- Yeah, honey. - I smile at her shock.

- Oh my god, FOR REAL? I'M GOING TO A BASTILLE SOUND CHECK? OH MY GOD, I'M GOING TO CRY. - She hugged me tight and I felt my chest getting wet...

- Aw Annie, are you actually crying? - She looked up at me without letting go and nodded. - You are a real stormer. - I laugh. - You are dating the lead singer and still get extremely excited for a sound check.

- It's just that... umm... I never thought I could really go to your concert, I just couldn't afford it. - I kiss her head.

- But... you are my girlfriend, now. I thought you imagined that sooner or later this would happen.
