a lifeless girl
laying on the beach
scarred arms
bruised legs
dying lungs
a heart without a heartbeat
she had been fighting the waves
pushing harder every time they pulled her down
the salt had been burning her throat for too long
her eyes had gone blind due to the pain
her fingers were numb because of the cold
her mind couldn't work anymore
her ears were deaf to the sounds
as the sea called for heart
she couldn't protest
as she held the winds hand while falling down
the rocks welcomed her with open arms
the tides knew they owed her too much
so they took her body from the ground
and took her to their castle
they made her their queen
because she was the only human
that could breathe underwater
the end
