Never Knew

Waking up

I woke up in a cold sweat. I realized I fell asleep. I checked the time, 5:00, I was asleep for 15 minutes. "I wonder if he noticed," I whispered to myself.
I turned around and saw a human figure. I gasped.
"Notice what?" it said, suspicious-like. I realized it was him.
"Oh, sorry." I said quickly. He heard me, he snuck up on me and heard what I said. What if he knows I fell asleep?
I added, "I didn't mean to, well, umm-"
Luckily, he cut me off. "What do you mean?" He said, like he wasn't just watching me sleep.
"Umm never mind," I said, surprised he's acting so dumb-founded.
"Alright then." He said with a smile.
Why is he acting so nice? I thought, This is so weird.
Then, he interrupted my thinking. "Come on, I made breakfast." He said, nicely.
"Umm ok." I still wasn't sure what to think of this guy, but I figured that if he was being nice he wasn't that bad, right?
I followed him to the living room. There were two plates, with toast on them. There was a bowl of cereal on mine also.
"I thought maybe you would like some Honey Nut Cheerios," he said. "Since the toast was a little over cooked."
I looked at the toast. It was over cooked. Not a little, but a lot. It was black on most of it. I didn't really care though, cause I just wanted to eat the cereal. "Ok thanks." I said, so he would stop staring at me.
"What do you want to drink? You want apple juice?"
"Sure, that would be great." I said a little happier.
Maybe he isn't so bad after all.
"Sorry, it's taking a little while to fix." he said from another room.
"That's ok." I said. "At my house, I drank apple juice all the time. I always loved apple-"
"Ok, its ready." He said in a hurry.
"Ok, thanks" I said. Then I started drinking it. He sat in a chair nearby, eating his burnt toast.
Suddenly, I felt weird. The room was spinning. "What is happening?" I said, scared.
"Don't worry," he said, in that same suspicious voice. He sounded far away. "Everything will be ok." He added.
The room got darker. The room kept on spinning. I got so scared. Then, after what felt like forever but was only a few minutes, my head fell back and I dozed off.
