I finish doing my eyeliner before applying lipstick. I had decided to have a quick shower after school since gym was more than laps today, we played football instead. I put my glasses on and was about to grab the hair dryer when I heard the doorbell. I look at my door before looking at my bed where my shorts are. Do I put my shorts on then go get the door? Or get the door then put my shorts on? I hear the doorbell again and shrug

I pull my sweatshirt down before going downstairs and opening the door to find Mr Minter. I look at him shocked before facepalming
"Hello to you to" Simon said and chuckled
"I completely forgot you was coming over" I said embarrassed and he laughs, I then look down at my outfit and realise I didn't have my shorts on but my underwear was hidden. I also realise my hair is wet
"Way to look unattractive" I mumbled before letting Simon into the house
"I heard that and I don't think you look bad to be honest" Simon said and I blushed a little
"Erm.. W-we can go to my room to finish the work off since my laptop is up there" I said and Simon nodded his head before gesturing for me to lead the way. I close the front door and lock it again before leading the way to my room. Once we get to my room, I grab my shorts from my bed before looking at Simon
"Two seconds" I said before going to the bathroom, I close the door and slip my shorts on before opening the door again. I walk out and look at Simon
"You can sit down" I said before walking over to my desk and grabbing my laptop. I then walk over to the bed and sit down opposite Simon before turning my laptop on
"How did you forget I was coming over to help with your work?" Simon asked
"Gym class. Football took all the energy out of me and it just slipped from my mind you was coming over" I said and shrugged before logging in and opening up the work we started on
"To be honest, I never knew you played football. I never paid any attention until today. How are you good at football but not gym class as a whole?" Simon said/asked
"I use to play with my brother all the time when we were younger. I haven't played much since the day I lost my parents and Len left for college plus the family I lived wi-" I stopped talking and frowned before tears filled my eyes at the memory
"Hey, you okay?" Simon asked and moving the laptop, he places it on the floor before moving closer to me. I look at him and fake a smile
"Yea yea yea, I'm fine" I said and wiped the tear that was rolling down my face
"What happened with that family?" Simon asked and I shook my head
"Nothing.. Nothing happened" I lied and Simon frowns before sighing
"Could you at least show me a real smile instead of a fake one?" Simon asked and I tried to smile a real smile but couldn't. Just then I feel Simon's hands on my stomach and before I could react, I'm getting tickled. I burst into laughter and try getting out of Simon's grip but couldn't
"S-SIMON" I screamed inbetween laughter and he chuckles
"Will you smile a real smile?" Simon asked and I continue to laugh
"I-I can't" I said while laughing
"Then I will continue to tickle you" Simon said and nodded his head, I giggle and try slapping his hands away but he doesn't allow it. I give up and just continue to laugh, I fall back onto my bed and Simon continues to tickle me
"SMILE" Simon jokingly shouts as he straddles me
"I CAN'T" I shout before laughing again
"YES YOU CAN WOMEN" Simon shouts and laughs, he continues to tickle me for a few more minutes
"OKAY! I'LL SMILE" I shouted and Simon stops tickling me, I start to calm down from laughing before realising how close Simon was to me. We both slowly start to stop laughing and just stare into each other's' eyes. I notice Simon's eyes flick from my eyes to my lips then back to my eyes. He leans in and I close my eyes
"OH MY GOD! TAM- Whoops" I heard someone burst into my room, Simon jumps off me quickly and I sit up before looking at the door to see Natalie. I nervously smile
"Was I interrupting something here?" Natalie asked before smirking and I shook my head
"N-no" I said, still a little surprised yet shocked
"Did you need something Miss (L/N)?" Simon asked Natalie
"Oh yea.. Tami, guess what?" Natalie asked and I just looked at her
"What?" I asked and she smiles
"Mr Payne asked me out" Natalie said and my eyes widen before I jump off the bed, I go over to Natalie before we both squeal
"Really?" I asked excitedly and she nods her head
"He is also my secret admirer" Natalie said before showing me the note in her back pocket
I watch you in my lessons and get distracted easily. It's not easy telling you my feelings but here it goes in this note. I like you. A lot. You're the reason I come into work everyday so Natalie (L/N), will you go out with me? ~ Ethan Payne :)
I look at Natalie and squeal again
"This is so cute" I said
"I'm surprised he finally told you" I jump and look at Simon
"You knew?" I asked
"Me, Tobi, Josh, Vik, JJ and Harry. We all knew and helped him express his feelings in those letters. Man struggles a lot" Simon said and chuckled
"That explains a lot to be honest and how you guys got into my locker" Natalie said and I giggle before handing back her note. I go sit back down on my bed
"Where are the others? The house is too quiet" Natalie asked
"Freya is with Mr Bradley, don't even wanna know what they are doing. I have no clue where Kay is, she's been disappearing a lot. And apparently Jenny is at the library which is obviously a lie" I said
"Why is that a lie? She could be revising or doing work" Simon said
"Because Jenny being at a library is like saying, Jenny will have sushi tonight. She hates seafood" I said
"She doesn't like libraries?" Simon asked
"Basically. If we ever say we are going library, she would stay home or wait outside but never go inside" Natalie said, I think for a bit before looking at Simon
"Do you know something we don't? So far you've known about Mr Payne's situation and I'm pretty sure you knew about Mr Bradley's situation" I said and Simon smirks
"That will remain a secret on if I do or don't" Simon said and I pouted
"Pleaseeeeeee tell us" I said
"Sorry Tami, you girls gotta wait until the others are ready to tell" Simon said and I look at Natalie who shrugs. What could Kay AND Jenny be hiding from us?...
