The dance is near

Ashley POV

I wake up by being squished to death. Amy and Stacy are jumping on me while Piper and Lily laugh at me. I push them off the bed and catch my breath. "What was that for?" I asked. "No school today." Lily said. "Why?" I ask. "I woke up at 6 o'clock just to go to the bathroom when I found mom and dad in the living room. I said 'hi' to them and then on the tv it said school was cancelled becauses their was rats in the kitchen. Now they are running around the school, we have 3 days off, and if they can't catch them in those 3 days our break will extend for the whole week." She explained. "Nice." I said as I get ready for today. "Hey what happened to my alarm?" I asked. "I-i called Adrian to remove it so you can have more sleep. Plus he is the only one in your family that can fall back to sleep fast." Lily said. "True." I said. It was 10:45 right now. After I have all my clothes I go to the bathroom and take a shower and change. Once I get down stairs I see all the girls chatting along with my brothers. "So what are we doing today?" I ask. "Were shopping for our dresses for the dance. It's in 2 weeks you know." Piper said. I nod. "We can drive all of you there and we can be the judge." Josh says. Amy rolls her eyes. "Have any of y'all been asked out for the dance?" I ask. "No." Lily and Amy said. "Yup." Piper and Stacy said. "Did y'all turn them down?" I ask finishing my food. "Yup." They reply, I just hum. Once everyone was finished eating we got in the car and left to the mall.

I walk around the store with Lily. "So... Lily who do you want to be asked by to the dance?" I said trying to make conversation. I saw her blush. "No one." She said. "Are you lying to me?" I question. "W-well I just well-" I cut her off. "Do you like somebody?" I ask. She blushes even more. "Oh my gosh you do!" I squeal. She looks at the ground. "Who is it?" I ask. "I'm not going to tell you... Even Piper doesn't know." She said. Wow I was suprised the twins tell each other everything. "Come on tell me." I say as I bump my shoulder with hers. She just shakes her head. Then Adrian comes to us. "Hey Stacy and Josh found a store with dresses and tuxes." He said. I nod my head as he walks us there. "Are you going to ask someone to the dance?" I ask Adrian. "Um... Not yet I want to ask someone but I think she will turn me down." He said. "Who is it?" I asked. He didn't respond. We walked in the store and saw Piper modeling a dress. "How do I look?" She asked. "Amazing." I say. "Buy the dress." Lily said. She laughs and went to change back. We all huddle in a group once Piper gots back. Even the boys are in our little circle. "Okay, Josh and Adrian you will tell us how we look. Girls comment on the dresses and find one okay." Stacy said. We all nod. I then take Lily with me. I try to talk to her about her crush but she would just ask me questions about Skye. We walk around the store. She then walks ahead and leaves me behind. "Hey!" I yell. She doesn't stop. We pass by Adrian. He follows us. Then Lily stops at the same rack that Stacy is in. "Hey, that was rude leaving me you know." I said to Lily. She does nothing. I wave my hand in front of her face. She then turns to me, Stacy and Adrian with a dress in her hand. "Wow." I breathe out. "Go change to it." Stacy said immediately. She goes to change to were we found the rest of the group. We all talk untill she comes out. She looked amazing. All of us were speechless. Lily rarely wears dresses so it's a bug deal. "Well... What do you think?" She asks nervously. "You look stunning." Adrian says. She blushes and look down. Then I start to wonder who she likes. "Girl we are going to the accessories right now and buy things now." Amy said. Lily smiles and walks back in to change. We all got our dresses and we all loved them. (Look at pic of dresses). We all got some accessories and went to have lunch. "Hey sis me and Adrian are staying at Steve's house." Josh said. Steve was a lacrosse player and he was friends with my brothers. "Alright I'm staying with Piper and Lily." I said. He nodded and texted our mom. I always have extra clothes at their house. We walk back to the cars and I go with Lily and Piper. All the way to their house mind wanders to who Lily likes. She blushed when Adrian gave her a compliment but that is normal. A guy gives you a complement you thank him or you blush or you stutter. I sigh and think the whole car ride.
