It was a peaceful day in the Mekakushi-dan HQ. They needed a new challenge. This would either pull them closer together or pull them apart. Maybe they need the happiness I failed to keep in my life.
Through my power, I appeared in the centre of the room. Everyone stopped to look at me, my frail face, red eyes and snaking black bangs. My grand-daughter, although she never met me, looked terrified. I wondered where Shion was now. With cold words, I spoke the task I would set them.
"Everyone," They all recognised me, for I had appeared before them when each got their powers. "For today, let's mix things up a bit..."
They all collapsed on the floor and then awoke ten seconds later. Before leaving, I spoke, "Enjoy your new powers." With a little chuckle.
