Baz

I'm shocked to the core. Simon gently flies us to solid land. Setting me down first then landing himself. I soon as he sets foot on the sidewalk he collapses. I catch before him falls onto the pavement. His There's nothing to see here has worn off. His red leathery wings and forked tail are clearly visible to the Normals around us.

"There's nothing to see here!" I cast on us. I start casting healing spells on Simon, "Early to bed and early to rise!" and "Get well soon!" To my relief he starts to stir after the second round of spells. He sits bolt upright, gasping.

He looks at me and I clear the space between us and kiss him. His mouth is so soft and he tastes like mint and Simon. Our air is shared between us. I feel a burning need to be closer to him, and I crush him against me until there is no space separating us. He twines his hands through my hair.

"Baz." he whispers against my lips, "Baz, I love you. I love you more than anything in the entire world and beyond."
