The Argument About Forever

Sabi nila wala daw forever
Lahat daw ng bagay may katapusan
Pero tingin ko, sabi lang yun ng mga bitter
Na sawi sa pag-ibig, nasaktan at naiwan

Ang forever di lang naman sa pag-ibig
Ang Diyos natin ay di tayo iiwan
Nagbiyaya ng hangin, pagkain at tubig
Ang Diyos ay nandiyan magpakailanman

English:

They say nothing lasts forever
That everything will come to an end
But, I think, they're just broken
And lost their faith when their trust was bent

Forever isn't always about love
God, our father, will never go away
Gave us everything we must have
Forever is God, no matter what they say

Okay. That was hard to translate. 😂 But anyway, I'm just going to say where I got the idea from.

I just came home from church when I wrote, and during the mass, the priest said that forever isn't always about love. People only say that nothing lasts forever because they're broken and tired of life. But forever is real, because God is real.
