Chapter 8 : Task Complete

You got to kenma's house and knocked on the door. Seconds later the pudding head setter opened the it and looked at you. "Oh (y/n)-san. What're you doing here?" He asked.
"I'm here to see Kuroo."
"He's not here."
"What?!"
"After you called I went to the bathroom, came back and he wasn't there."
"...alright. Thanks kenma."

You walked off and pulled out your phone to call Kuroo. You scowled when it went to voice mail. Kuroo, what are you doing?! It wasn't like him to do something like this and to not tell Kenma so you got really worried. You went back to the hotel and tried to calm down but you couldn't. It was now 7:30 and you had told Kenma to tell you if Kuroo came back, but his call to tell you wasn't coming.

You were watching TV when your phone started ringing and you picked up immediately since it was Kenma. "Hey (y/n) I found Kuroo. He's in the park a few minutes away from the hotel." You sighed in relief and thanked Kenma before changing and rushing out the door.

Kenma put down the phone and looked at Yaku who was also there. "Stage 2 complete." Yaku grinned and looked at Inuoka. "Onto stage 3. Inuoka?"
"I'm on it." He cheered and rushed to the park gate.

You walked into the park and it was practically empty at this point. You walked deeper in trying to spot Kuroo when you were blindfolded. "Hello (y/n)~" You growled then you realised who it was. "Inuoka! What is this?!" You said and tried to take off the blindfold. "No keep it on." He said and grabbed your wrist. "Where are we going?" You sighed as he dragged you. "It's a secret."

A minute past and Inuoka stopped walking and let go. "Ok we're here!" He said. You felt your blindfold being loosened but it wasn't Inuoka doing it. He had already ran off. Your blindfold was now off and you turned around. "Inuoka what-" you stopped when you saw Kuroo behind you. He just smiled at you and said, "hey (y/n)-" he never finished since you punched him in the stomach. "What's wrong with you!?"

He looked up at you as he held his stomach and let you continue. "You suddenly leave without telling anyone and stay out for hours! You didn't pick up when I called you! I WAS SO WORRIED!!" You yelled. Thank goodness there was no one in the park. You pouted and looked away. "I ran here the moment kenma told me he saw you."

Kuroo smiled and turned your head to look at him. "I'm sorry." He gave you a peck on the lips and hugged you. You hugged back and dug your head into his neck while sniffling. "Hold on a second." You said and squinted. "There's no way Inuoka just happened to be here. I expected to see Kenma here too."
"Ehehe...ask Yaku. It was his idea." Kuroo laughed nervously. You growled and turned around before shouting, "YAKU GET YOU SKINNY, LITTLE, BABY SIZED ASS OUT HERE!!"

Yaku then popped his head out of a bush and yelled back, "I'M GUNNA LET THAT ONE SLIDE!" He got out of the bush and walked up to you. "Is this why you called me this morning? And was it your idea to get Kuroo out of the house and make me worry all day!?" Yaku merely nodded and before you could say anything more Kuroo covered your mouth. "All for good reason." You looked at him confused. He then took your hand and dragged you away. "Come on."

He dragged you to a certain point then covered your eyes and continues. "Ok seriously, how many times am I gunna be blindfolded today." You asked and Kuroo just pushed you forward. "Ok we're here." He announced and uncovered your eyes. Your jaw dropped when you saw what was in front of you. There was a table with candles on top and two seats. Around the table were dim lamps and the table happened to be surrounded by cherry blossom trees so the ground was decorated with petals.

"This way milady." Kuroo smiled and took you hand. He pulled out your seat and then sat opposite you. "What on earth is this?" You gasped and looked around. "Well Yaku had the idea to lure you here and Kuroo said to surprise you with this." Kenma said as he handed you a plate of food. "Wait isn't the park meant to close around this time." You asked kenma.
"My uncle owns it so I asked to use it."

Suddenly in the background there was a violin and flute playing and your turned around. "No way." You said when you saw Lev playing the flute and Yamamoto playing the violin.
"The play!"
"Even I was surprised." Kuroo smiled and you looked back at him. "You did all of this for me?"
"Of course." He grabbed your hand and kissed it. "You're the first proper girlfriend I've had. All the others I broke up with in a week but with you I feel and want it to go somewhere."

You started sniffling again and Kuroo got up and hugged you. "If you ever doubt how I feel about you just talk to me. I don't want to loose you." He dug his head into your neck and you nodded. He then gave you a sweet kiss and Kenma took a picture and smiled. "That's a keeper."

"We also have something for you (y/n)." Kai said and you looked at the team. You felt your phone buzz and they motioned you to pick it up. Yaku had sent you a video which you decided to play. It started with Yaku. "(Y/n) please stay with Kuroo. We don't want to go through this again." The video then showed multiple recordings of Kuroo being a sad sap and not listening to anyone and not practicing. "It's a nightmare. Even if you hate Kuroo later, forgive him. For us." Kuroo just glared at them as they laughed and you smirked. "You're such a cry baby."
"Shut up!" He walked you home and said he'd drop you off at the train station tomorrow.

The next day came and you met Kuroo outside the hotel. He treated you to breakfast and walked you to the station. You waited for the he train for a while when it finally came and you climbed in. You took a seat next to the window and Kuroo stood outside it and called you so you could hear each other. "Have a safe trip."
"Thanks Kuroo."
"Make sure to call me when you get there."
"You worry too much."
"You're worth worrying about." You smiled at him though the glass when the last call goes.

"(Y/n) before you go promise me we'll be together forever."
"Your tearing up." You smirked and he wiped his eyes. "Shut up." You smile and replied. "I promise Kuroo."
"Call me Tetsurou. It'll reassure me."
"Alright. Bye Tetsurou."
"Bye (y/n)." You put down the phone.

The train started moving and Kuroo smiled and made a heart shape with his hands, mouthing 'I love you.' You giggled and the train left. You leaned your head against the window and looked at pictures and videos of Kuroo. "I'm glad I have you."
