Gabriel reached for his hand, and Malphas gave her a glare. He pressed their hands together and pulled her in to his chest. It felt like they were doing something forbidden, in which case they were really doing something wrong. But Malphas's unnerving stare had her captivated. Were demons as beautiful as angels?
He slowly cradled her head in his hands, his lips a centimeter away from her. "You are such a temptation, Little Angel," he growled, and was about to crash his lips against her, but he stopped on his own accord. "You are an archangel. Go and save yourself while you still can!"
"No. Come with me, He can grant you leniency. Malphas, please. You've known of love."
Malphas laughed loudly. His beautiful features scowling in disgust at the word I used. "I am a devil. A demon. I do not love. I destroy. And if you don't leave now, I will destroy you for I cannot love an angel."
