Everyone knows how the world started – what other people refer to as the beginning of time. In that beginning, God had also created supernatural entities, known to humans as Angels. But some angels are not what they seem to be. Angels were created as messengers of God.  The Scriptures reveal that God created nine orders of angels: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Principalities, Powers, Virtues, Archangels, and Angels.

The seven angels that stood before God in Revelations are considered to be the Archangels. These celestial beings are: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Sariel, and the fallen Lucifer.

Lucifer, God’s used to be favorite, Gabriel thought. It had been years since I last saw him. And there had been war.

Gabriel wasn’t like any other archangels. She’s a girl. Most people think of the archangels as men, but the thing is, archangels had no specific genders.

She was Archangel Gabriel, Angel of the Annunciation, Angel of Resurrection, Angels of Guidance, Legions of the Fourth Ray, Legions of Purity, Legions of White Fire, Legions of White Lighting. She was God’s left hand.

Unlike the other archangels, Gabriel was usually calm and at peace, that is. . . until she was summoned by Uriel, which was kind of unusual.

“Gabriel,” Archangel Uriel called out, his melodic voice seemed to be singing. “I have something to show you.”

After all, Uriel was the Angel of Repentance, Angel of Music, Angel of Poetry, and the Angel of Prophecy. He was the fire of God.

Gabriel stood up, fixed her cloak and followed Uriel. In heaven, there was a place solely only for the archangels. It was a realm created by Lucifer, a place filled with stars and constellations, as Lucifer was God’s morning star. Ever since he was casted away from heaven, the place for the archangels would always glitter in darkness, reminding them of his power.

But it was a beautiful scenery. The vast sky was covered in stars and bright moons. Trees surrounded the area, glistening in white, and the ground was made of snow. It was such a sight to behold.

In front Gabriel was a palace. The gates opened at their own will as several bustling archangels passed by them. Uriel and Gabriel walked around the area and finally settled down to the hall of archangels. Each of them had their own painting plastered on the wall.

“Archangel Michael has been taken down to Hell, the abode of Lucifer.” Uriel frowned, but that didn’t make him any less angelic.

“That is impossible.”

Uriel touched the soft cloth on the wall. The cloth shone bright until Michael’s face appeared. He was in a cell, his entire body bleeding, his wrists bound together. Together with him was a creature of the night; A beast-like animal waiting for him to wake. Even Gabriel could not make out of her brother’s face.

“How can this happen? Michael is the chief general!” Gabriel didn’t believe it. How could Lucifer simply abduct one of the best archangels?

“You see, Gabriel, we cannot function without Michael. The Creator is on the verge of breaking the entire world for this. Without Michael, demons are freely sprawling around the Earth. We cannot hold this much. Hell has gone too many.”

“Who is responsible for this?” Gabriel asked, her eyebrows furrowing together.

Uriel paused then sighed. “I have never heard of this devil’s name before. But it is Malphas. I hear Lucifer has taken a liking on this one.”

“Malphas. . .” It was a bitter taste on her tongue. “I guess he has the same rank as Michael down in Hell.”

“The angels are doing their best to horde them off, but it seems to be that Hell’s gaining a whole lot of numbers. Angels are being stripped of their wings and. . .”
