"Auchelle! ((Uhshell)) Hurry up!" My dad exclaims. I groaned. I packed my stuff and looked at myself at the mirror for the last time.

To be honest, I am pretty but  my face today is not doing so well. My light brown soft hair is now dry. My white smooth skin is now rough. My hazel eyes are now redish. My day today is not gonna be so good.

I grabbed my phone, bag, and bass and walked to my dads car.
"What am I suppose to do?" I nervously asked my dad. "Just perform! You practiced their songs right?" He asks. "Of course."
"The Vamps right?" I asked again. "Yes. Remember, don't fall in love with them. They're no good. They are so rowdy." He says sternly. I rolled my eyes. "Dad, I can't believe you're telling me these things. I'm not that girl anymore!" I didn't look at him. I crossed my arms.

Love at first sight sucks. It's not real. I repeat, IT'S NOT REAL. I was in love with a dude, I told him He was the love of my life, and I would do anything for him. He did ask a few things, he told me to wear a red crop top, skimpy skirt and to apply loads of make up. Obviously, I did. Then, He told me to meet him at school. 12pm. I did.
I waited for hours. Then his friends showed up and threw eggs, flours, paints, whipped cream and toilet papers. All I did was cry. I remember what he said. 'Listen, I don't like you. I will never will. Besides you can flirt with other people with your disgusting looks.' All of his friends just laughed at me. I ran away and told my parents. They were crazy mad. Also, disappointed at me for being stupid.

"I know. I'm just reminding you in case you be blind again." Dad says. I grunt. We arrived to a arena. "Are you serious?! That stadium?! I can't. Nope, Dad I can't do this." I gave up. "No. Let's go!" He pulled me inside the arena and walked towards back stage. "Joe!" My Dad calls. "Mr.Balthazar! I mean Marvin! Good morning." A tall guy with facial hair greets my Dad. "Are we late?" Dad asks. "You're way early! That's actually good." Joe smiles. "By the way, this is Auchelle my daughter." Dad introduced. Joe looked at me and smiled. I smiled back, not knowing what to say. "What a pretty girl! I'm Joe. I'm the manager of The Vamps." He says, bopping his head. I smiled. omg I'm so awkward someone help @ me.

"Why don't you meet the boys!" Joe says. "Uh Dad?" I asked. "Of course, that's why you're here!" My Dad nudged my arm. I laughed awkwardly.

The reason why I'm here cause apparently their bassist is injured. My dad works here and he suggested that I can be their temporary bassist.

I followed Joe. We went inside a room. "Boys, meet the temporary bassist. Her name is Auchelle Balthazar. Be kind and gentle." He announced, patting my back. Two boys were smiling at me. I smiled back. "Why don't you join them on the couch yeah? Just call me if you need something okay?" Joe smiles. I nod. I awkwardly sat beside them. "Hey! I'm Tris. The drummer." A blonde fringed guy introduced.  "Hi." I shyly greet. "James. Guitarist of the band." The other dude smiles. To be honest, they're hella attractive. Not gonna lie. "Tell us about yourself." James asks while smiling. Oh no.

"My name is Auchelle Balthazar. Or Ash. I'm 17. I played the bass for almost... Uhm maybe two or three years? Aaaand. I love dogs and cats." I shrugged. They chuckled. "Well my turn, I'm James McVey. I made this band. I'm 18 and I love my cat." He smiles at me. "That's really cool!" I smiled back. "What about you Tris?" I add.
"Uh. My name's Tristan Evans. I started to play the drums when I was seven years old. I love myself." He grins. James and I laughed. "Wow." I laughed.

I have a feeling we're gonna be friends

"Where's Brad?" Tris asks James. "Wait I'll call him." James grabs his phone and calls the person. "Sorry to ask but who's Brad?" I asked, my curiosity couldn't take it. "Oh, he's the lead singer. He'll be here in awhile. Hopefully." Tris smiles. What a cutie.

Joe suddenly walked inside. "Soundcheck time!" Joe cheers. We stood up and walked towards the stage.

I grabbed my bass and warmed up my fingers. ((Nothing weird abt that lmao))
"Sorry guys, woke up late." A curly guy said. He walked pass me and went in the middle of the stage and held the microphone. I'm guessing he's Brad. "What song are we gonna practice?" He asks James. "Can We Dance."

I wish I remember the notes.

Soundcheck turned out to be fun actually. But I'm really nervous cause all the girls or boys might hate me.

"So are you excited?" Tris asks me, brushing his hair. "Sure?" I shrugged. "PSH." He nudged my arm. "Of course I am, but your fans might hate me for temporarily replacing your bassist." I admit. He just chuckled. "Don't you worry." He smiles. "Yo Tris! You alright mate?" Brad joined. "I'm alright mate. Alright." They laughed. I fast walked so I won't be awkward. But I am so.
"Ash, This mate right here is Brad Simpson. Or mushroom." Tris joked. I just awkwardly laughed and walked inside the room. I was welcomed by a blonde girl. "Hello! Auchelle right? I'm Adele. I'm the one who dresses the vamps." She smiles. "Oh hi!" I shyly greet. "Let's spice up your looks yeah?" She asks, scanning my face. I just nodded.

My outfit looks nice, not gonna lie! *photo^^^ ((not mine))*
"There! Casual but cool." Adele proudly smiles. I scanned myself at the mirror. My makeup was suttle but cute. "Can you call the boys please?" She asked, fixing the makeups and clothes. "Who specifically?" I asked, a bit nervous. "Brad."

I was suppose to knock on the door but someone opened it. "Hello?" Brad says. We stared at each other. "Uh. A-adele is looking for y-you." I awkwardly stuttered. He gave me a weird look. Oh shit.
