Chapter 6

I was walking on the street, there was a little breeze and i liked it. I decided to take a road along the park. I walked through the grass, everywhere where daisies, my favorite flowers. My attention unvoluntary fell on a father playing with his 2 children. A girl and a boy...like Eunjoon and i. The children were playing happily around, the father opened his arms and hugged his children. I secretly hoped it was me and Eunjoon, we never had family-times with my father. I sighed and looked at the hour on my phone. OMG it's 16:45pm, i'm late!!! I rushed to my house, when i entered my house i saw my father on the couch. He was watching the
TV silently. Fear rushed through my body.

"I'm home" I softly said and took off my shoes.

"Where were you?" He asked annoyed.

"I was with my friend at the library." i replied and wanted to go to my bedroom but he stopped me.

"Eunmi come here!" He said while getting up from the couch. I was very scared, I know he's going to hit me now. Slowly i stepped back into the living room.

"Come here" i obeyed him and stood in front of him as i played nervously with my fingers.

"Do you think you can go everywhere you want!?" He yelled and hitted my face. My head flipped to the right. I tried to hold my tears back because it hurted so much. Does he thinks i'm a toy or something!? I held my hand on my cheek and looked down.

"I'm sorry" i said and bowed. He slapped my cheek twice and went back to the couch like nothing happened.

Tears rolling down my cheeks.
"If he hit you or do something else you can stay at my house, okay?"
Gyeong words played out in my head. Without thinking I ran out of the house, i heard my father screaming my name but i ignored him. When my house was no longer in my sight i slowed down.

*ding dong*

Gyeong opened the door.

"Eunmi!?" She half exclaimed. I didn't say something and stared at her. She pulled me in her arms and hugged me, i cried on her schoulder as she caressed my hair.

"Shh...I'm here dongsaeng"

She guided me into her living room. Fortunately her parents are still at work, i don't want them to see me like this. She handed ma a cup of tea and placed some ice on my red cheek.

"Are you hungry?" She asked. I was shy so i nodded.

"We're best friends, no need to be shy" She smiled at me. After the words "best friends" i felt good and happy, to be honest i've never had a best friend before.

Gyeong's phone rang, she picked it up and answered.

"eomma?"

"..."

"Nae"

"..."

"Nae"

"..."

"My friend will sleep tonight"

"..."

"Euhmm.....a sleep party" she lied to her mother when er mother asked why she slept here.

"Okay, bye bye"

Gyeong hung up and went to the kitchen.

"I will order pizza, is it okay?" She asked from the kitchen.

"yes" i replied and smiled. She called the pizzahut. Meanwhile we're waiting for the pizza we talking about girls stuff like clothes, manicure,...about boys...i told Gyeong about my crush on jimin and she jumped in the air.

"Really!?" She asked with a big smile and clapped her hands. I nodded. Little did i know, my cheeks received a pink tint just by thinking about him.

"Omg" she kept fangirling. I laughed at her actions, she was like a little kid who became happy because she got a toy.

*ding dong*

Gyeong went to the door and opened it, she paid for the pizza's and thanked the deliverer.

After we ate our pizza, Gyeong made a comfortable bed for me. She placed a mattress next to her bed with a warm blanket and lots of pillows.

"Good night" I was so relieved to have a friend like her.
