This is going to be a BSM (Brother-Sister-Moment)

Two-Bits POV

I walked into Curtis house feeling more confused than I've ever been in my entire life. I sat on the couch and stared at the TV as I was still processing the information.

"Earth to Two-Bit!" I heard someone yell. I looked up to see Soda waving his arms everywhere.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"I asked if you wanted some chocolate cake." He answered, holding up a plate.

"Nah, I'm good." I said, turning back to the TV.

"Somethin' wrong with you?" Darry asked while raising an eyebrow.

"My moms getting married." All of the boys stopped what they were doing and looked at me. "And I'm going to have a step-sister."

"When did this happen?" Johnny asked.

"She just told me this morning." I answered. "I'm going to meet them tonight at dinner."

"I'm sure it'll be fine." Darry reassured. "You're mom is a smart woman."

"I guess." I mumbled as I thought about how tonight would go. I hung out with the guys until four and then I went to help my mom get dinner ready. I moved slowly as I placed the silverware on the table. My little sister than ran into the room excitedly.

"I'm going to get an older sister, I'm so excited!" She cheered.

"I'm glad." My mom chuckled. "How do you feel about it Keith?" I didn't answer but shrugged my shoulders.

"I know it's sudden, but he's really great and I'm sure you'll get along with (Y/n)." She said hopefully. "She's your age."

"Maybe." Replied with a small smile. After helping my mom place all of the food on the table someone knocked on the door and my mom quickly walked over to answer it. When she opened the door she cheerfully greeted the two people at the door. First a man walked in and he leaned to down and kissed my moms cheek. He was tall and slightly built. There was a smile on his face that seemed to reach his eyes. Next was a teenage girl wearing a white tank top with a floral yin and yang sign, jean shorts, and pink converse. She has her hair in a bun and what seems to be a forced smile on her face.

"You must be (Y/n)." My mom smiled at her as she held her hand. "You're absolutely beautiful."

"Thank you." The girl said with a blush. My sister then grabbed (Y/n)s hand and pulled her to her room as she chattered excitedly. After speaking to (Y/d/n) I also went to my sisters room to see what they are doing. I walked into see my sister showing (Y/n) all her favorite stuffed animals.

"And this one Keith gave me." She said, handing her Mickey stuffed animal to (Y/n). "He really likes Mickey" she sighed.

"Well, who doesn't?" (Y/n) asked teasingly.

"No. He takes liking Mickey to a whole other level." She said dramatically.

"You talking about me?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"No." My sister held out as she quickly turned around and started giggling. I rolled my eyes as I walked towards them both.

Your POV

Keith and I spoke only a few times as his sister showed me random items in her room. When we did talk it was awkward. I did learn that he was 18, a junior, and spent most of his time hanging out with his gang. After that it was time to eat. The only talking at the table was between our parents and his sister. After we finished eating Keith and I sat awkwardly in the living room, waiting for our families to appear. Finally our parents appeared.

"We're going to take your sister out to see her friend." Ms. Matthews told Keith.

"We thought you two could stay and get to know each other." My dad said and then they quickly rushed out the door.

"I should've known they'd do that." We mutter at the same time. We then fell silent until Keith asked a question.

"So, you an only child?" He asked curiosity.

"No, I have an older brother who lives with my mother." I answered. "We don't really talk though."

"Oh, you miss him?" He asked quietly.

"He wasn't a good brother." I said just as quietly, hugging my legs to my chest with my chin on my knees.

"Well, I'll be the best brother you could ever ask for." He said cockily.

"Oh, really?" I laughed, turning to look at him.

"Of course." He said leaning into the couch. "I'd never lie to you."

"Never?" I asked and he nodded in response. "Are any of your friends hot?"

"Nope." He answered quickly. "Ugliest bunch of people I've ever seen."

"Well I'm gonna need another opinion." I reason. "You should just take me to meet them."

"You're not half bad." He said as he shook his head, chuckling. "I could live with you as a sister."

"Not half bad? I'm fabulous." I said, pretending to do a hair flip. We both laughed a bit when I turned serious. "I think I could live with having you as a brother too." He looked at be with a small grin before we fell into another conversation.
