here i will talk about some of the greatest players who are going to miss the euro

1. MARCO REUS (groin injury)

sorry guys, i just have to talk about this again, okay?

it's very unfortunate for marco to get injured again during such an important time. he missed the 2014 world cup due to an ankle injury, and now he has to miss the euro because of a groin injury. i guess luck is just never in his favour.

i think that he would've been such a vital player for germany, and germany really lost a great player here, even though there are other amazing players. marco would've been such an amazing addition to the team, but i guess we'll have to do with the players we have now (which is fine because our players are damn good)

2. FERNANDO TORRES (not called-up)

fernando has never gotten an international call-up in 2 years. 2 FREAKING YEARS. he even said that he wasn't surprised he didn't get a call-up for the euro.

it's ridiculous though because fernando can be a big help for the national team, seeing as they don't have experienced players in the attack department. fernando can be a great role model for the forwards, but apparently vicente del bosque decided to never call him up:):):):):):) your loss, babe

3. KARIM BENZEMA (not called-up)

karim benzema is not going to be in the squad for the euro because of a sex tape and blackmail scandal back in november, and i don't really know what the relation between that and the euro is???????

it's such a shame that benzi won't be playing because he would've been a great asset for france, and he could've helped france win the euro. let's just hope that france will win nonetheless (still supporting germany here, so i feel kind of guilty for saying that)

4. ISCO ALARCON (cancelled)

isco was in the preliminary squad, but he wasn't in the final squad. del bosque cancelled isco's call-up because he said that isco hasn't been playing much with real madrid lately (aka since zidane arrived) (zidane u lil puta) so he thought that isco isn't in the best shape right now, which is why they won't be bringing him along to france.

isco is such a versatile and explosive player, and he would've been a great addition to spain's midfield. their midfield is already amazing, but it would've been even better with isco.

5. SAÚL ÑÍGUEZ (cancelled)

saúl was also in the preliminary squad, but he wasn't in the final squad. del bosque ended up subbing both isco and saúl with lucas vázquez, who is actually a winger, but will play as a striker for spain.

saúl's call-up was cancelled because he has had 0 start with the spain nt, while the other midfielders such as koke, iniesta, busquets, etc have played a lot of games with the spain nt. in conclusion, saúl wouldn't have had a place in the midfield because he was not qualified enough compared to the other midfielders.

i was actually really upset because saúl has had an amazing season with atletico, and he would've been such a great midfielder for spain in the euro, but del bosque actually has a point in this.

6. ANDREA PIRLO (not called-up)

he wasn't called-up because antonio conte wants players who are good at high-intensity games, and since pirlo moved to mls, he has lost that part of him.

7. MARCO VERRATTI (injured)

marco suffered a groin injury and has to undergo surgery, which is why he will be missing out on the euro. 

marco is honestly such a great player, and he has such amazing control. also, he is one of those players that no one can hate. it's such a shame because italy's midfield is weak already, without pirlo and marchisio, and now they have to lose verratti too.
