When the broken sky trembles
The carpet unwinds into spindly claws.
They whip out to lick at the skin
now drenched in black sludge
The world, sinking into dark sea
Flickering, flickering away
Gone, not coming back

Suddenly collapsed in soot blackened snow
Cold seeps through clothes to bite at the skin
A peek reaps a view reaked in white fluff
Eyes scream in dispare at the piercing bright light
A stab of realization prickles the heart
Alone, only alone
