Would you like to go out with me?

Today was the day that Draco would start his training along with me, we dropped by Chloe to Popa and Nana along with Oliver and Olivia who didn't mind spending their times with their grandparents. After we dropped them off headed straight to the ministry to meet with the new Head Auror, Ernest Ambercom, Kingsley, and Sevy. While we were walking inside the ministry, some ministry workers stared and whispered to one another seeing Draco walking along with me hand in hand, Draco seemed worry about it but I gave him a reassuring smile and squeezed his hands softly

"You'll be fine sweetheart" I cooed in his ear rubbing circles in his hand. He let out a sigh and relaxed a bit

"I hope so princess, or should I call you queen now?" He asked cheekily I smiled at him shaking my head

"You and your kinky mouth, come on we're going to be late" Draco and I walked through a couple of corridors until I found Mr. Ambercom's office, I knocked on the door then opened it, beaming at Mr. Ambercom who was sitting infront of his desk while Sevy and Kingsley stood beside him

"Ah Ms. Evans and Mr. Malfoy right on time" His voice turned cold when he acknowledged Draco.

"Good morning Head Auror Ambercom." Mr. Ambercom shook our hands as we took a seat beside Sevy and Kingsley

"Before you two got here, I was discussing a few things with Kingsley–"

"I'm sorry Head Auror Ambercom but I know you're really weary about Draco's past but I am here to tell you that He made a wrong choice back then, and then he didn't really had a choice, he was scared to die" I defended Draco which took Mr. Ambercom by surprise, Sevy looked at me with a proud look, while Kingsley nodded in agreement

"Ms. Evans right, Draco will be also useful in the ministry to huddle up death eaters, he can identify them and bring them into interrogations at the atrium" Mr. Ambercom looked at us with a sigh, taking off his glasses and looked at us

"Very well then, I will be keeping an eye on you Mr. Malfoy, I know that Ms. Evans here knows you better than we do, and I trust Ms. Evans and also I can't afford to lose such a great Auror like her, She did well solving Ms. Astoria Greengrass' case back then ofcourse credits to you too Mr. Zetroú, but one question Mr. Malfoy, were you behind Ms. Astoria's murder?" Mr. Ambercom asked everyone in the room tensed at the question

"Mr. Ambercom, I beg your pardon but apparently Astoria Greengrass' case is closed a year ago now and Draco has been found innocent at the crime scene" Sevy came into Draco's defense

"I'm sorry Head Auror but I know you are accusing Draco inside the head of yours but I guarantee you that Draco wasn't behind all of this" I added Draco smiled thankfully at Sevy and I squeezing my hand

"I still need a honest answer from you Mr. Malfoy" Mr. Ambercom sighed choosing to ignore Sevy and I's defense

"No, I am not involved in Astoria Greengrass' death" Draco answered truthfully

"Good then, Ms. Evans, like Kingsley has told you You will be Mr. Malfoy's mentor and ofcourse during Monday, Wednesday, and Friday the two of you are requested to drop by at the ministry. Sevy if you would show them Ms. Evans' office. We were expecting you to work here as soon as you were off in Hogwarts but ofcourse due to some circumstances you weren't able to return which we understand. Sevy Zetroú will be also your partner ofcourse, and will be assisting Draco Malfoy in his training also. Good day to all of you" The four of us stood up and exited Ambercom's office

"Alright then, follow me if you would" Sevy lead us through a couple of doors away from the Head Auror's office, there he opened a room, We entered the room there was a desk along with a plaque that encraved my name and some of my awards and participations

"Why in the world am I in Order of Merlin?" I asked in disbelief "This can't be real"

"Well, I told you to come and stop by and collect your award along with Draco and the Twins" Sevy said rolling his eyes "anyways, Fred and George also got Medals of bravery, along with Draco for ofcourse betraying the wrong side" He handed us our awards, mine was a Violet coloured ribbon for Order of Merlin, and other two gold medals. Draco had his own medals too, which we thanked Sevy for

"The two of you will start today, I had various profiles of suspected death eaters that the two of you can look through, take those home, We'll just see each other on Friday" He smiled at us while leaving the two of us in my office. Draco sat in my chair looking at the profiles, I sat in between his lap resting my head upon his shoulders

"So we're going to take this home?" I asked him smiling

Draco chuckled wrapping his arms around my waist "Yeah, We should and ofcourse we have some time alone in the flat you know" I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck kissing him senseless

"Come on babe, let's get this work done"

We headed right into our flat, tossing down the papers in the table We plopped down in the sofa looking through various profiles of claimed death eaters

"Walden Macnair" Draco looked through his profile "This one's on the run, he killed Collin Creevy"

"He did?" I asked in disbelief

"Yeah, saw it in my own eyes" Draco sighed rubbing his temples, I examined the profile and took down some important notes.

"Where would he possibly be right now?"

"Hiding, maybe went to abroad mostly in California, his family lives there"

"We'll track him down, I'll send a message to Matthias and Lauren to hunt him down" I said picking up a folder in my shelf

"What's that?" Draco stood up and walked towards me, I opened the folder and there revealed some profiles that we've worked on during Hogwarts

"Some profiles of the students in Hogwarts, maybe some of them will help" Draco tensed when he saw the picture of Vincent Crabbe, He pursed his lips looking away

"I'm really sorry on what happened with Crabbe, Draco" I rubbed circles around his back soothing him down, He sighed resting his shoulders on me

"Let's just work on the other cases" Draco picked up another form of profiles ofcourse sorting confirmed death eaters and the ones who will be under questioning

When my hands got hold of another profile, my jaw clenched as I bit my bottom lip staring at the man who almost killed my best friend, Fred Weasley

"What's wrong?" He looked down on the paper I was holding he blinked a couple of times then stared at me curiously

"What's with Agustus Rockwood?"

"What's with him? Well this guy almost killed Fred during the war, he might've used bombarda maxima in the walls that made a great explosion" I snapped, Draco looked at me softly and grabbed my hands, I instantly calmed down muttering a sorry

"I understand that you're mad as hell at that guy Mavs, He almost killed Fred. Hell I was mad at my Aunt Bellatrix for almost killing you to be honest" Draco whispered beside me, I smiled at him kissing his forehead

"She's gone don't worry she wouldn't try to kill me again" The both of us chuckled slightly before returning back to work

"Okay so by Friday, we'll be stopping by some of the suspected death eaters to question them, and we'll round up some of the death eaters to put them in azkaban" I stated after we finished working with the profiles, it was only past five in the afternoon and we still have couple of hours before we go and pick up Chloe

"That's good then, so We have some time for ourselves, would you like to go out with me?" Draco smiled widely at me, I chuckled returning back the smile

"Ofcourse I'd do"

"That's great then, come on let's go dress up we'll be having dinner" Draco said, I chuckled following him into our bedroom
