Interrupted

Draco and I were standing infront of Mrs. Jade Anderon's home, Draco looked anxious and started biting his finger nails, I chuckled kissing him in the cheek

"Don't be anxious, you'll do fine" I reassured him, He sighed nodding at me. I pursed my lips and knocked on the door, there were few footsteps and shuffles until someone opened the door, a middle age woman looked at us sternly and bewildered probably wondering why two teenagers are knocking on your door

"Auror Mavis Evans and Auror in training Draco Malfoy, Mrs. Anderson" She looked at us in terror and ran inside her house that took us by surprise, I ran after her along with Draco, tackling her into the ground

"We're just here to ask you to come with us Mrs. Anderson" I casted the Locomortis curse on her, making her legs locked together to avoid her from running away again.

"I paid my taxes young girl!" She said angrily

"We're not talking going to talk about taxes Mrs. Anderson" I said calmly

"Then what are you doing here? And why would a filthy death eater would like to be an auror? You're not really aurors aren't you? Thieves!" She shouted

"That's none of your business Mrs. Anderson"I snapped "I'm sorry but we have to take you to the ministry for further interrogation" Draco hoisted her up while she struggled to get free from our grasps. Sevy was waiting for us in the Ministry smiling at us happily

"Great job Mavis, Draco" Sevy said "If you'll excuse me I'll take Mrs. Anderson to the atrium now" Sevy winked at us and took Mrs. Anderson away from us. Draco frowned rubbing his left fore arm

"Does it hurt?" I asked softly, He just shook his head pursing his lips

"I never wanted to be a death eater, I just wanted to protect my family" He whispered, I frowned hugging him

"Draco, you just wanted everyone you love to be safe that's why you took the mark" I told him "Come on" I took his hand and laced it with mine's we went to inside our office. He sat in the chair quietly, he grabbed his left arm again and sighed

"Is it still there Draco?" I asked him he just stared in space frowning

"I'm sorry Draco I didn't–"

"It's still here, no matter what I do to erase it, it will never be gone" He whispered resisting his head over my shoulder "Chloe should be ashamed of me"

"Nonsense Draco, You're a very great father she wouldn't be ashamed of you love, don't let your mark become your stereotype" I said kissing him in the lips, He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer

"Mavis, I know this isn't the right time to ask you this but I've been waiting to ask you this, Mavis will you–"

"Mavis! Malfoy!" The door bursted open, Draco and I jumped away from each other, Harry blushed and rubbed the back of his neck

"Am I interrupting something?"

"Ah none Potter" Draco sneered at him, I rolled my eyes chuckling at Draco

"Okay then, so the both of you are needed at the atrium, The both of you handled Mrs. Anderson awhile ago right?" He asked

"Yeah we did, what did the old hag want?" Draco asked, I nudged him slightly glowering to him

"Sorry" He muttered

"Both of you are needed in the atrium oh and bring Mrs. Anderson's file" Harry nodded leaving the both of us, I stood up with Draco following behind me with Mrs. Anderson's profile in his hands, We followed Harry into the atrium seeing Mrs. Anderson was sitting in the centre chair while Kingsley was trying to calm her down, when Kingsley saw the both of us walked in he nodded
