Chapter 8 - An Eventful Night!

"How was it boys?!" James asked us as we walked through the door.

"Life changing!" Beau said, being all inspirational.

We were all sweating, we had been out for about 8 hours so I was very prepared to sleep forever! It was so much better than I expected a day out with the boys would ever be.

"So Al, are you staying the night again?" Jai asked me.

I hadn't seen my dad for 2 days, this promotion has him away almost every single night and he was away tonight as well so I thought why the hell not?! I looked over at Luke who was hoping that I would agree so I nodded my head and smiled.

"Great, shall I get you some clothes or do you want to nip back?" Luke asked.

I really wanted to wear some of Luke's clothes again because they were so comfy and smelt so nice! But, I thought it would be best that I went home to get changed. I told the boys that I'll nip home then walked out the door and over to my house. I ran upstairs, skipping a step every time and walked into my room. I pulled out a pair of white short-shorts and a pink vest top and got changed. I filled a bag with makeup wipes and spare clothes then ran back downstairs and out the door. I had become such good friends with these guys so I walked in without knocking and walked over to Luke who was now in his pyjamas, just some shorts!

"Where do you want to sleep?" Luke asked me, smiling like a cutie.

"I don't mind, wherever you want me!" I said, staring into his eyes.

He shot a flirtatious look as I said this. That bungee jump changed my life, I'm going to be daring and flirty from now on! Beau came in from the kitchen holding 2 bottles of straight vodka and a few packs of beer.

"Drink up!" He said, necking half a bottle of vodka.

Within 10 minutes, all the drinks were gone and we were all on the verge of wasted! Me and Luke lay practically on top of each other on the sofa while Daniel, Beau, James and Jai were all almost passed out on the floor. They acted strong sober but they were all lightweights when it came to drinking!

"Spin the bottle!" Daniel announced.

"Seriously Dan? There's one girl and 5 lads, y'all will end up getting off with each other!" I said.

"It won't be gay because we're straight!" Beau said, winking at me.

Everyone took that as a yes and Beau put a vodka bottle in the middle of the floor. We all circled around it and Jai spun it. The speed of the bottle slowly dropped until it landed straight on James. They instantly took hold of each other and started kissing each other, all over their faces, they were naturals. They finally stopped then Luke took hold of the bottle and spun it quickly. It landed on me but I wasn't happy. Luke looked at me and moved his head closer to me but I moved away.

"No Luke, I'm not having my first kiss as a spin the bottle game." I shouted, and ran up to the bathroom.

I slammed the door shut and locked it. I slid down the door and landed on the floor, almost crying. I wasn't sure why I was so upset but I had just let my biggest secret slip out to 5 lads who I've barely known for a week. I pushed the hair off my face and the tears just wouldn't stop pouring out of me.

"Alex, open the door." Luke said softly.

I couldn't resist his voice so I slowly unlocked the door and opened it. He stood their with his arms open and I dived right into them. He wrapped his hands around my waist and rocked me slightly. No one could ever hate this boy, he was kind, caring, funny and sweet.

"How about we give spin the bottle a miss and just go into my room?" He whispered into my ear.

His voice sent shivers down my spine. I nodded at his request and we walked into his bedroom, shutting the door behind us. I sat on his bed and he turned on some background music from his stereo then joined me. He took hold of my hand and looked me in the eye.

"First kiss aye?" He said, smugly.

I couldn't help but giggle.

"Shut up you!" I said, lightly punching his arm.

We both laughed for a while, still staring each other in the eye. Luke had such beautiful, deep brown eyes that I found myself getting lost in and taking hold of his hand. His eyes flickered from my eyes to our hands, now locked together. As he rose his head, he smiled at me, so I returned the gesture. We both paused for a few seconds to hear nothing but our own breaths, finally, we were alone.

"Never thought we'd be left alone." Luke said, somewhat relieved.

Before I had a chance to reply, he caught hold of my cheeks and cupped them in one of his hands. The other hand now on my waist. We didn't wait any longer, our lips collided and connected together. I opened my eyes, looking at his beautiful face all scrunched up. He took his lips off mine and started to kiss me along my jawline. His breath was warm and smothered my face but I couldn't complain, he was perfect. I moved my lips back to his and started to kiss him again, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he took hold of my waist tightly. We both fell down on to the bed, lying side by side, still connected. He pulled the duvet over our bodies and pulled me closer.

"You're perfect Al." He whispered.

And with that, we were out like a light.
