Hours have passed and Heatwave finally woke up from his much needed rest. As he was getting himself up Blades quickly helped him, "easy Heatwave", he said softly.
"Blades?", Heatwave said, "w-what happened?". Blades wiped away some tears, "Y-you passed out when you tried to ask me something. I- we were all worried about you". Heatwave was now embarrassed, "I-I'm sorry".
Blades was quick to speak, "don't be sorry, I'm just glad you are okay!". Blades immediately hugged Heatwave.
Heatwave's faceplates were now red but he hugged Blades back. At that moment Boulder opened the door causing the helicopter and the firetruck to quickly let go of their embrace.
"Heatwave! You're awake! And just in time too!", Boulder chimed. Heatwave was now puzzled, "just in time for what?". "The Christmas party!" Boulder said with excitement and then ran to the main part of the bunker.
Both Heatwave and Blades exchanged a look while standing up from the berth. "Come on Heatwave", Blades said, "let's go have fun!".
Heatwave smiled, "right behind ya!"
