Heatwave was glad to see it was a small party and not one that the entire town would attend. All who attended were the Greene's, and of course the whole rescue team.
"Where's Hightide, Optimus, and Bumblebee?", Boulder all of a sudden asked. "They had to cancel on us due to too much they have to take care of", answered Natalie. Without skipping a beat Blades began to whine, "aww... I was really hoping to see them again, especially Bumblebee!"
Heatwave could feel his spark start to break once again until Blades spoke again. "Oh well at least I can hang out more with grump bot here and spread some holiday cheer!", Blades teased. Heatwave felt a little better after that and then he really felt better when Blades grabbed his servo and pulled him over to help finish putting up the last of the Christmas tree decorations. Heatwave was given the honor of putting the star on top.
Now everything was perfect and everybody was ready for fun.
"Oh! I almost forgot! Blades can you help me put up the mistletoe?", asked Dani. "Um sure!", Blades said with hesitation.
As the helicopter helped the pilot, Blurr was hiding behind Heatwave with a small smirk.
