"The....The arctic?" I asked, trying to process what he said.
"Yes. You are on an oil rig, in the middle of the arctic," it seemed like he said it slower that time, as if bothering to be patient with me.
"I..." I stumbled slightly. I don't know what it was, but something was making this place feel more horrible than an oil rig should be.
"Are you the only one here?" Drake asked calmly.
"Yes. I'm alone," he responded. I slowly regained my composer and noticed Armen looking at the other two doors, already knowing which one belonged to Grayson.
"Why does the door say 'Colin'?" Armen asked curiously, looking at the sign above the door.
"He is my old partner," Grayson said, looking up at the sign briefly before looking back at us.
"What happened to him?" Drake asked.
"I woke up one day and he was gone. The crew started disappearing after that. Let me go take my gear off, real quick," I watched him walk into his room and I turned to the others.
"Guys, something isn't right here," I stated before Armen started to speak.
"I recognize the name. Colin...Where have I heard it before?" Armen pondered, looking at Drake.
"It does sound very firmiliar," Drake nodded, turning as Grayson walked out of his room. Or, at least I think it was him.
Across the wooden dining room tabe, stood a tall man with blond hair and emerald green eyes, also wearing a green shirt and jeans. I litterally didn't even notice my jaw drop. I was staring the the most handsome man I had ever seen. I'd thought his voice was nice...All of him is nice.
"Lyd? Earth to Lydia?" Drake's hand was waving in front of my face. I shook my head and looked at the ground, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks in a wave.
"Drake, Lyd, I feel like I know him. I recognize him from somewhere," Armen was looking at us and I looked up briefly to meet his eyes.
"You do?" Drake sounded rather confused.
"Yeah. He is very firmiliar....The man," Armen tensed up at his last words.
"The...You mean the man in the jungle?" I realized we were whispering and Grayson was now busy, working around the area.
Armen nodded and I looked at Grayson, busying himself quietly.
"Hey, Grayson," Drake called out for Grayson's attention. Grayson walked around a corner, "do you ever remeber being in a jungle?
"Yeah, of course. Lots. Mostly for supplies and stuff," he responded and turned to enter the kitchen. I walked up to the counter to lean on it quietly, Drake and Armen close behind me.
"Do you remember anything weird happening?" Drake questioned after a moment of deliberation with Armen.
"Hey, Hey Grayson," Armen smiled, "Where do you get the food."
"Hidden cabinet," I smiled as Grayson gave the brief, nonhelpful comment.
"Oh.." Armen sounded disappointed.
"Want some hot cocoa, or pie?" The blonde offered kindly.
"Please," I smiled at him and he handed me some.
"Sure," Drake and Armen said at the same time.
"Do you mind, maybe, if we stayed the night here tonight?" Drake asked hesitantly.
"Sure. Your room is the empty one on the right. There is a bunkbed and I can get a sleeping bag for the person who will sleep on the floor," Grayson smiled, his eyes catching mine briefly before looking on and leaving the room.
