"She's here." I heard Meliorn say as I approached the trio, a portal visible. Clary took my hand, and without saying anything pulled me with her. "What the he-"I was cut off, my vision blurring before focusing again. I looked around to see that I was in a bedroom, a bedroom that was most definitely not mine. My eyes darted around until settling on a mirror, a small screech exiting my mouth. My hair was pink! Why the hell is my hair pink! The door was thrown open, a wide eyed Clary standing there. "Clary fricken Fairchild where the hell are we and why is my hair pink!" I exclaimed. Clary shushing me and quickly closing the door behind her. "We are in an alternative universe and I have no time to explain. Okay? Okay." She sassed. I growled lowly. "Right now we need to get out of here before my mom and Valentine realize that something is different about us." I chocked out a cough. "I'm sorry did you just say Valentine?" She nodded sadly. "Yeah, now let's go." She made her way to turn but stopped short. "Actually you may want to change." She grimaced. I looked down and almost died on the spot. I look like I just had sex!

"By the way...you have a boyfriend." Clary said, emphasizing on the boyfriend part. I shuddered. "So I most likely just had sex with said boyfriend." I grimaced as she nodded. I quickly changed, hoping that I was dressed as I usually would in this dimension. I was wearing a white crop top, maroon high waisted pants, and white heels. Clary and I quickly left my room, hurrying out of the apartment and into the streets of Brooklyn.
"Hey." I heard as me and Clary walked up to a food truck. "Where have you been?" Clary gasped and I looked over to see Alec, Izzy, and Simon. I smiled at them. "Rissa, I'm going to get something to eat." I told Clary, before walking over to the line. I saw Jace and grinned at him, biting my lip. "Hey, babe." I grinned, kissing him as he walked up to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, his hands finding my waist and pulling me closer. "Earlier was fun...wanna do it again tonight?" He murmured in my ear, a flirty smile graced my lips at this. "Of course, babe." He smiled, pecking my lips again before going back to his job. A few seconds later Simon tapped my shoulder. "Hey, I'll get it for you." He said, and I hugged him slightly. "Thanks, Si." I said before going back to the table and sitting next to Alec and in front of Izzy. Clary was standing next to me and looked upset. "Rissa, what wrong hon?" I mused, not understanding her downcast look. "Claire, can I talk to you for a minute?" I nodded and stood up, letting her drag me behind her. "Claire, you have to remember who you are. Okay, this isn't you. This is the other dimension you." She told me sternly, the world fuzzing slightly before focusing. I looked at her wide eyed. "Oh my god." I was slowly forgetting, falling into this dimension's wavelength. "We need to get out of here before we both forget, before neither of us have a way to be pulled back." I told Clary. She nodded in agreement, taking my hand and pulling me with her. "We need to find this dimensions Magnus, he'll be able to help us." Clary said determined.
An hour later we were sitting in Magnus's living room, tarot cards on the table in front of us. Magnus looked...different, to put it kindly. If he dressed like this in the real world then I'd be freaked out. "The lovers," Magnus said, flipping over one of the cards. "You are in a loving relationship, this man has a sting hold on you." He flipped more cards, talking with each one. "You feel a magnetic attraction to him that you cannot escape. Tonight will define your relationship." Magnus was silent for a moment, before chuckling. "Oh, you hope he is your soulmate. But secrets revealed will threaten to tear you apart." I rolled my eyes, knowing none of this shit was actually going to happen. I heard a cat meow and stifled a laugh as Clary gasped. "You don't have a cat." She said, suprised. Magnus looked confused. "I have two. Chairman Meow and Church." He said the last one in distaste, his dislike for Church showing. "We're not actually here for a reading," Clary said, almost sheepishly, "we know you're a warlock, Magnus." I butted into the conversation. "We're Shadowhunters, or well I am. She's, well, new to this." Magnus laughed at us. "There are no more shadowhunters, haven't been for hundreds of years." "I can prove it." Clary said, showing him her nonexistent rune. I rolled my eyes at her stupidity. "All I see is the fact that you need a serious tan, Clary." I sassed. "Right, bad strategy. No runes in this dimension." "We're from an alternative dimension." I told Magnus. "If that were true without an anchors you'd be assimilating into this world." I scoffed at him. "Believe me, we're fighting it." "Which is part of why we need your help." Clary said. "In our dimension, shadowhunters still battle demons and now there is something so much worse. And I need your magic to help stop it." "I can't help you, my magic's gone dormant." "Then wake it up." I snapped.
