Drugs are a beautiful thing
They give this euphoric feeling
Make you think that anything is possible
Add color to your horridly dull life
Numb the pain

But it's all in your head
and once the high is gone
you go back to your colorless life
where nothing is possible
and the pain is so overwhelming...
life is so overwhelming
that you just can't take it anymore

Until you get your next fix of course
And the cycle starts all over again

Many people forget about the downsides of drugs, how addicting they really are
I certainly did
Now I'm addicted
Not to heroin or weed or cocaine
But to him
He was my drug
And he was going to destroy me in every way possible.
