Chapter - 10 - Epilogue

Kritika's P.O.V. :-

'Where the hell is he!? I'm gonna kill him!'

'Relax, Kritika! Calm down. He's not even married! Don't kill him already! He must be coming. Maybe he's stuck in some traffic jam. You know he won't be missing it today.'

'Haha! Poor joke Naman. Don't take his side. He is very late. Let him come! I'll teach him a lesson.'

'Hey! Sorry, sorry,sorry,sorry! I got stuck in traffic. I am very sorry.' He came half-running, half speed walking towards us and said this making a puppy face. But I know better.

'Kabir I don't understand one thing. Why all the traffic comes in your route only? Everytime you only get stuck! Idiot!! Atleast change your excuse. From the last 12 years, the same old excuse. Traffic jam!' I was very furious at him. How can he be late on a day like this?

He gave a sheepish grin and said,'I said sorry, yaar. I am here in time no, what else? Now leave all this. Tell me where is she?'

This boy will never change. What will happen of him. I gave out a sigh and said, 'She's inside. Come with me.'

As I turned to go, I heard a girl's voice from behind, 'Hey! Kritika! Atleast you don't leave me and go, yaar!' I turned around instantly recognizing the voice, with a big grin on my face, 'Navya! Where were you! My god, you're looking very pretty. I'm sure the bride's gonna be so jealous of you.' Yes, that was Navya, Kabir's fiancé. And we all were there for one of my best friends Anusha's wedding to her long time fiancé cum boyfriend Laksh. Wondering who Naman is? He's my would be fiancé. All six of us have very nice bonding. Normally boyfriends are jealous of their girlfriends' male friends. But here Naman, Laksh and Kabir are very good friends.

'Really!! Thank you! But just scold this Kabir. Such an idiot he is! He left me in the parking and ran away. Can you imagine anyone doing that to a girl who is looking this pretty!' She said this pointing to herself and batting her eyelids dramatically. All of us started laughing at her words.

But we had to go to Anusha. She must be waiting for us. So, we went up to her room where she was sitting all dressed up as a bride. Her face lit up when she saw us. She stood up and said, 'Finally you guys came! I thought you forgot its my wedding and went away to get married yourself!'

'It's all because of this Kabir. He was late.' Me and Navya said together. Kabir threw up his arms in the air and said, 'I said sorry. It's not like I missed the whole function or anything. What do you want me to do.'
