guess who's branching out on asian languages this summer!!!!
i find that i prefer oriental languages over western ones. they sound more pleasant to me??? plus the writing is way prettier.
i already studied jap hiragana and a little katakana (and i know that the kanji for oik's name is 及川 徹) but since i'll be realllyyy busy next year kanji is probably going to be postponed, so i'll first focus on jap grammar and maybe a little kanji?? lmao ill probably end up doing kanji anyway
i also added korean because i rlly like the way the language is written tbh
also chinese, because basically i was supposed to get chinese this year but got screwed over big time (too long of a story lmao) but have now acquired my friend's workbook so i can work with that!
also, my art teacher saw me studying korean today and since the chinese teacher has studied oriental languages, she's going to get me to talk to her and i may be able to do chinese exams starting next year that i get certificates for!! which is why i want to start chinese now.
so lmao that
