She sits cross legged on the couch in the living room whilst I pour the coke into glasses.
'Y'know I called Ben before' she says as I pass her a glass.
'What do you mean?' I ask
'That's how he knew the order and stuff' she explained
I laugh at that
'I knew he wasn't that good' I say
'What about what he said huh?' She asks 'and I quote "Eat it while it's hot"'
I shake my head at her quotation.
'He's just joking around, you know him' I say taking a bite into the pizza
'Yeah but' she says in between chewing 'on a serious note, what's gonna happen after all this' she says, gesturing to the space between the us.
'What, after we've eaten the pizzas?' I joke.
'No idiot' she says as she rolls her eyes
'To us....as friends' she says
I take a sip of my coke and think about it
'I don't know' I reply sincerely
Downstairs the door opens and shuts
'Crap!' Meghan whisper-yells
'Eli!' My mum yells 'Are you home?!'
'Yeah mum!' I say back to her gesturing her to hide somewhere
'Who's board is this?' My mum asks from downstairs
We look at each other, knowing that we should left the board somewhere else.
'Eli?' My mum yells
'Yeah?!' I say as Meghan moves toward a cabinet to hide in
'Who's board?' She asks now in the room
'Uhhhh it's' I begin to say but she's already seen her.
'Who is thi--' She starts 'Hold on...Meghan?' She says in astonishment
'Yeah...hi' Meghan says hesitantly
'It's fine dear, great to see you!' My mum says
'Yeah it's been a while' Meghan replies
'Yes, it has' she says looking around the room.
'What have you been doing' she says in an suspicious way
'Nothing, just eating pizza' I quickly say
'Well, if you feel the need to, y'know, be safe.' My mum says awkwardly
'No! Mum no just leave' I say face palming and shaking my head at the same time.
'Ok, there are some--' she begins
'Go!' I say to her
'Fine, fine' she chuckles and leaves the room.
'Oh my god' she says, turning her attention in my direction
'You can say that again' I say, in disbelief
'Oh my god' she says
'That's my thing' I say as a grin spreads over my face
'That's our thing' she says
'Our thing?' I ask 
'Yeah I had a lot of, like, things with other...' Her voice trails off
'Boyfriends?' I say finishing her sentence
'Yeah, boyfriends' she mumbles to herself
'So' we say at the same time
We look at each other and sit in silence
'I'm just gonna leave' she says getting
'Yeah' I say staring at the spot in the room that is now empty
She leaves silently and closes the door behind her.
I sigh heavily and flop back onto the couch.
'You idiot Eli' I say out loud

Meghan's POV

I leave silently and close the door behind me.
I lean against the door and close my eyes for a second.
Yeah, boyfriends
That's our thing
Eat it while it's hot
You idiot Meghan
'You idiot Eli' I hear Eli say
I silently push my ear up against the door to hear if he says anything else.
His phone rings and he picks it up
'Hey Stace' he says
'Oh she was just here at mine'
'No, we were just eating pizza, why does everyone think that?'
'Cute? Me and Meghan?'
'I dunno'
'I don't think she likes me like that'
'You think?'
'No! We didn't even hug or anything!'
I feel my face go red at his comments
'Yeah'
'I'm free all holidays, why?'
'What do you mean you can't tell me?'
'I just had lunch I'm not going out again'
'The park? Why can't you just tell me?'
'Tell us? Who's us?'
'Why can't--hello? Stacey?! Ugh!'
He says ending the call.
I quickly grab my board and open the door just as my phone goes off.
I begin to board home and I answer the call
'Hello' I say
'Hey it's Stacey'
'Oh hey, what's up?'
'Come to the park?' She says
'What? Why?' I say even though I know already
'Oh and bring Eli, heard from someone that you two were just banging so bring him with you'
'Sta--Hello!? Stacey?! Fuck!' I say out loud and turn around in the direction of Eli's house.
As his place comes into view I see him leaving.
'Hey! Eli!' I yell out him'
He turns and waits for me
'Stacey call you?' He asks me
'Yeah, come one lets get this over and done with'

At the park we see Q and Stacey sitting at a beach and we walk over to meet them.
'Stacey' I say 'Why are we here?'
'Ok so I have a I huge plan' she says excitedly
'And that is?' I ask
'My parents planned a trip to the U.S this holidays but they just decided switch and go to Europe.'
'That's great, where do we come in?'
Eli asks
'Well instead of cancelling everything for the U.S trip they decided to let us have the tickets!' She says
'Wait...what?' I say not quite believing what I heard
'We're going to the U.S!' She yells out
'What?!' Eli and I say at the same
We look at each other momentarily but then focus on Stacey.
'That's awesome Stacey thank you so much!' I say as I hug her
'Yeah Stacey thanks for inviting us along' Eli says hugging her after me
We look at her in astonishment
'Oh my god Stacey! You're amazing!' I say hugging her again
'Well I do try' she says
'Anyway Q and I aren't gonna hold anything back...if you now what I mean so just be prepared for that...um I mean so if guys ever want to, y'know, the don't be--'
'No!' Eli and I say at that same time.
We look at each other but then attention goes back to Stacey.
