     You could finally see that all these men were all the same, the exact at that. You couldn't even guess what you had in store next though. Come and go, you were here and then there; couldn't even believe you thought you could change Kaneki yourself. You were such a fool, a fool in love.

But you would be fine without him, better off with him gone. That's all you needed, really. He should go have a good life with the girls he cheated on you with.

Yet you love him, why does he still mean so much? Who does he think he's kidding; he'd never be satisfied with just you. That was the kind of guy he is. You hated that you ever met him.

"I like you, I love you." -- Those had to be the best lies you heard from those pale lips, yeah, you liked that.

But you wanted him to get out, to leave, to go home. You didn't want to be shaken up no more, you begged for none of it to continue.

Go get drunk again, go get those girls with your sly, sly words, you wanted to tell him that. He was a playboy and he was infamous for that; a king of heartbreak. You must have been out of your mind to overlook that. You needed him out of your life, thought that will never be enough. Never enough to completely erase him. He'd just continue to go running to the other girls he's been hitting on.

You were fine, you were lying, but eventually you would be, right? He didn't care in the end and now loving and trusting someone won't be easy for you now because of him. You love him still, he meant so much, but who were you kidding?

Those 'I like you' and 'I love you' were the best lies. Yeah, you hated that now.

But why was he looking at you with those eyes? Those eyes that showed something different compared to when he looked at the other women. And that smile. That smile was something different as well, you were unable to put a finger on the reason.

Was this a new mask or was he the same playboy?
