A sad story you might find boring.

He began to notice it. The days he went out to get fresh air, for a lunch break, or even on his way to the headquarters; you always where somewhere nearby. You would zip on pass by his sight, he barely caught sight of you, but he knew it was you. At first, when this began, he was hoping you'd say a hello to him. (His appearance surely stuck out and he wasn't hard to recognize.) Though, you didn't. Not the first time, the second, or third. It was the fourth time when this happened, Suzuya noticed there was a distant look in your eyes as you continue to ride away on your skateboard, down the road in an opposite direction.

He didn't overthink it at first when he realized you seem disassociated with everything around you, but that didn't stop it from bugging him.

Red eyes look beyond the cafe window as he wondered deep in his thoughts as a simple slice of cake on a clean white plate sat on the table's surface in front of him. Should he do something?

Customers nearby his table flinch as the boy aggressively stabs the cake with a fork out of frustration.

He remembered you only had ride on that skateboard to try to rid of things on your mind; a sort of 'escaping from reality' cope.

It happened again. He was on his way to work and a single person, out of the walking crowd of people, was you on that long board of yours. The distant look in your eyes was the same as you briefly took one foot off the long board to push it against the concrete ground, speeding yourself up. There was no way he could stop you (without harming you) from getting off that skateboard, but he did have something else in mind. As you rode down the road, curving away from people who were in your path, Suzuya runs quick on his feet, trying to keep up but maintain a distance.

He rudely shoves anybody who tried to slow him down, feeling a little guilty at first, though he needed to know where you were going. The higher ups at his job might get mad for not fulfilling his duty as a ghoul investigator, but he can't work if there was something bothering you so bad that even you had stop talking to him. You weren't the type to just throw away people so easily and especially not the type to close yourself off so quick.

His eyes were locked onto your figure as he continues to rush by the passing people, the shape of you just standing so delicately on the board, hair flowing with the wind that was created by the rush and momentum of your board's speed.

Suzuya was panting at this point, but he's not going to give up.

You lean back a little, causing your long board to curve as you turn a corner to a nearly empty street. He follows in pursuit, slowing his steps and quieting down his pants, so he wouldn't catch your attention just yet.

The speed of your board slows down as you begin to leisurely ride down the new path, Suzuya's quiet footsteps following your trail. As you reach the end of the path, you stop your board and hop off, picking it up and carrying it with one arm. A gate stood in front of you now, Suzuya now noticing it was a cemetery.
