[ Urie's Point of View || Cat Urie ]

A cat... Has nine lives. For three, he plays. For three, he strays. For three, he stays.

First, I was a tiger. Freely roaming the open prairie under the basking warmth of the sun's rays. And then I was a leopard, living on the high alps with snow all around. During this third life, I was a lion. My life forced to be performing for circus crowds and subjected to a ring master's whip.

My fourth life ended before it began... Our cries drowned along with our bodies, a garage bag of these bodies sinking further and further into the lake's depths, soon to be forgotten. My fifth life also ended prematurely. Underneath a truck, during a bitter winter. My sixth life I had spent in an alley way and then suddenly, my seventh life, I was a creature of beauty when stumbled upon. Used for beauty competitions, I turned into a prized possession to be groomed, a prize on display...

I was not so lucky during my eighth life, however, I found myself in a dark room among the other deemed unwanted. A pound, they would call it, where stray or abandoned pets come and stay for temporary shelter, waiting for their new owner to walk in at any moment and pick them... Or just to rot away if nobody ever came to choose them.

There was an uneasy feeling in my stomach when I have accepted this, the world was cruel.

But was it really?

A young girl walked into the building with curious, bright eyes. So vividly, I remembered those shining eyes peering into my cage and that wonderful smile that spread across your lips when you saw me. And those words.

"You sure are cute, aren't you?"

Then I was taken into your home, you welcomed me, but I had not a clue of this new surrounding. I was hostile at you at first, I hissed at you so often since I wasn't aware of your true intentions. And gradually... I began to tolerate you.

You'd take out your phone and snap pictures of me while I was just exploring around your house. When you'd watch tv on your couch, I would hop up and sit next to you, curling up as you gently caressed my back. I even would hop onto your bed in the middle of the night and sleep next to your head.

I slowly began to understand.... What a home was.

So thank you. You, the one who taught me the meaning of 'home'. You, who never asked me for anything in return.

You only took me in, saved me from that dark place, and gave me love. For all of this, I can only thank you.

In my final moments, as the last of my strength slips from my body and I closed my eyes in your arms.. I made a single wish. That I could be by your side again.

Only thing is, if you would allow it. I will give.. My last and final life to you as well.

[ Third Person || Half Cat Half Human Urie ]
( he's wearing clothes, you pervs )

         "Wow, you're a cute cat."

Urie blinks his dark eyes at you. You flash a smile at him.

"You remind me of a cat I use to have..." you slowly trail off as Urie stands up from the bench he's been sitting on.

He didn't think his wish would come true like this. That he'd end up part human just to spend his ninth life with you.

There's a surprise look in your eyes as he stands up as if he's ready to follow you.

"Are you a stray?"

He merely nods, never had been the one to be vocal about many things in the first place. You only smile at him, gesturing with your hand to follow as you walk up ahead. Despite his dark purple hair and his black ears with a long tail that seemed always to be waving around in motion, as well as black, piercing eyes; something about him felt familiar to you and you weren't sure what.

That thought alone never stopped bothering you until the two of you finally reached your house. When finally settled, you had noticed the male had a few dirt marks and scratches on him. He was a stray after all.

"You might need a bath..."

Urie flinches at your words and he backs up from you. You laugh at his action. "No bath? Alright, alright.. Just wait here."

For a brief moment, you head off into the kitchen to grab a towel, dampening it with warm water then return to where you had left the cat. Urie is sitting in the middle of the hallway, on the ground with his legs crossed. You stifle back a laughter as you walked over to him, kneeling in front of the male cat while wiping away the dirt.

His eyes just stare at your every feature on your face and for a second, you feel uneasy, but it subsided rather quickly.

"Do you have a name?" you ask kindly as you brush out the twigs and grass out of his shirt hair on his head.

"Urie," he blankly responds.

You're taken by surprise by his voice, but you don't hesitate to smile at Urie.

"That's a cute name," you hum happily while finish cleaning the male up,"Well, you're free to stay here with me. It actually gets pretty lonely around here with just me."

Your smile grows wider and kinder causing a flutter in Urie's chest. Slowly, you were about to stand to toss the towel away, but a hand grasps onto your wrist, pulling you back down onto your knees. You look at Urie with a confused and worry look on your face.

"Thank you," he mutters shyly. A blush forms on his face and he's avoiding eye contact with you making you giggle.

Thank you for giving me a home and for giving me love.
