As they filed back into their rooms, Neeva and Lustria nudged the sleepy Aevum. "What?" Aevum asked, exasperated.

"Look at the letter. I didn't read it yet," Lustria handed Aevum the envelope.

"Lustria and I, we were looking for the creature to try to kill it. That was a very bad decision on our part," Neeva told Aevum.

Aevum turned on the bedlight beside her and put on her glasses.

Dear Children Who Are Trying to Find and Kill Me,

I have been watching you and I really must know. Why are you trying to kill me? What did I ever do? If you are talking about that woman, Lady Amelia, well, it was an accident. I did not mean to kill her. I merely scared her, and maybe scratched her. She died of a heart attack, and then I couldn't help it. I bit her and just had a little drink, nothing harmless, but she was dead anyways. You also might be wondering,"What is it?" I may seem intimidating, but I am just a creature who needs a little bit of loving. I would appreciate it if you befriended me. Maybe a visit in the night. I only have one visitor, who is one of your friends. I will not kill you. DO NOT WORRY! As for the screaming, I promise you that I had absolutely nothing to do with that. 1. Go to the 'Broken Lady'.

2. Look upwards and you'll see some sort of a trapdoor.

3. Use that girl's skills to get up there. (The girl is the one with the black hair.)

4. Lightly walk to the right.

5. You should see me waiting there.

6. Please come at 10:00 PM tomorrow. (I know that this is past your bedtime, but that is the point. As for the little one, she will get tired easily, so please let her sleep earlier. We have some things to discuss.)

Aevum read this to herself and then showed Neeva, who read it to Lustria and then she climbed up into the ceiling. She arrived at the Boys' Wing and quietly handed it to the wide-awake Fortis . When he finished, she took it back and made the adventure back to her dormitory.
