"Hey!" I call out to Yoongi, who's standing at the entrance of the amusement park, mask on his face. He finally replied to my texts two hours ago and decided to meet me here to have a fun time, at a small local amusement park where it wouldn't be too crowded.

I wrap my arms around my boyfriend, burying my face into his chest. He returns the embrace, before letting go of me and taking my hand. He leads me towards the ticketing booth, where he buys two tickets before heading into "The Land of Fun", as a nearby signboard states.

"What do you want to ride first?" he asks. Although half his face is covered by the mask, I can still tell that he's smiling.

"Can we stick to the kiddy ones?" I grin sheepishly at him. I never had a thing for rollercoasters.

Yoongi is already dragging me towards a carousel even before I finish my sentence, as if predicting that I would say that.

I scramble up a white unicorn with a purple mane, while he struggles to get on a red dragon. Just when he has one leg hooked over the dragon's neck, the carousel starts to move, startling Yoongi and causing him to fall backwards onto the ground.

I burst into laughter, and he glares at me, not attempting to get up while the platform is rotating, for fear that he may break his back.

I start to get off the unicorn even though the ride hasn't ended, because there's no point when Yoongi is on the ground with an aching butt.

However, before I have my leg over the unicorn's neck, Yoongi's phone rings, and he hurriedly picks it up, as if scared that the caller may hang up if he doesn't answer within five seconds.

He stays silent as he listens to the caller, before answering with a "I'll be right over" and hanging up the call.

My heart sinks, knowing what's coming next. The ride stops, and Yoongi gets off the ground, helping me climb down from my ride.

"Do you... have to go?" I ask him reluctantly once we get off the carousel, praying that it's a 'no'.

Yoongi shoots me an apologetic look. "It's my grandma."

I nod, forcing an understanding smile. "It's okay, you should go."

Yoongi's eyes fill with relief. He touches his forehead to mine, "We'll take a rain check, alright?"

I beam with a nod, before Yoongi removes his forehead from mine, turning towards the opposite direction and walking towards the gates.

I sigh as I watch him leave the amusement park. "What now?" I mumble to myself.

"Kim Minrae, is that you?" a voice calls out from behind me, as if answering my question.

Turning, my gaze falls on an unmistakable face. Park Jimin. Should I be feeling happy that he's here, or annoyed that he's the only one who is?

"What are you doing here alone?" he asks me, walking over.

"I could say the same for you." Somehow, I find myself grinning.

"My brother works here, so I decided to come visit him. He gave me a free ticket," he explains. "How about you?"

"Yoongi ditched me," I tell him with a pout. "He had to go take care of his grandma."

"Grand...ma?" Jimin frowns.

"Yeah. Why?"

He quickly shakes it off. "It's nothing." He takes my wrist into his grip and drags me towards a nearby rollercoaster. "Let's ride!"
