Kenneth tugged his suit one more time before he finally knocked on the door, he remembered Ashley address when Nael told him not so long ago. He heard footsteps from inside before the door finally open with one final click.

His smile turned into a frown when he saw a brown hair guy with green highlights. "Can I help you?"

He cleared his throat, "Yes, is this...Ashley's apartment?"

"Oh, you looking for Ash? She's not here."

"What do you mean? I'm supposed to pick her up for prom-"

"Wait, you're Kenneth?"

Kenneth opened his mouth to answer, but all of the sudden he let out a sneeze making the brown hair with green high-lights guy to take a step back, "What the hell, man!"

Kenneth wipes his nose, "Sorry, man. Allergic to cats."

"You should go." The guy said,

"What? No!" Kenneth sneeze, "I'm here to pick up Ashley."

"Listen man, she's not here. And she's not going to prom either."

"What? Why?"

"I don't know, you tell me." The guy shrug, "she was really looking forward to going with you, then suddenly she said she won't go."

"I don't understand."

"Don't play dumb man, don't you dare hurt my sister or play games with her."

"Sister?" Kenneth frown, "I didn't know she had a brother."

"Yeah, that's because you don't really know her. Listen, man. If you hurt her, I will cut your balls off and feed it to poopé." The guy looking at Kenneth straight in the eye, "I. Mean. It."

Kenneth gulped, "I won't, I--"

"Spare me the bullshit, just go." They guy turned around, closing the door.

"Wait!" Kenneth said, pushing the door open, "Can you at least tell me where she is?"

The guy scoffed, "Why should I?"

"Because...because i...i..."

"Yeah, whatever man." The guy said dismissing him, he closed the door leaving Kenneth alone with his thoughts.

He sighed in defeat and slowly made his way down the stairs. Something was wrong. He took his phone and called Ashley but it went straight to voicemail.

He cursed at himself, he didn't even text her at all yesterday. Actually, no. He didn't text her at all for the past week!

Of course, she'd think I'd bail on her! Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Where in the world could she be? He thought again,

An idea flickered to his head making him smile. He turned on the engine and stepped on the gas, because he knew exactly where she was.
