Chris POV

So here I am up at 4:45 on the front porch by myself waiting on Cody to get his sleepy ass here .

If he doesn't show I'm gonna kill him, i told my wolf he's coming I can tell

As if on que the devil himself walked up smiling and whistling

"Dayum you're NOT a morning person " he said

"Dayum you're a morning person " I replied

"Oh shuddup you love me , c'mon " he said pulling me along

We walked into the woods around the pack house , he went behind a tree and shifted , I did the same ,

I walked out to be met by a huge rust brown wolf with white paws and gold like the sun with orange / red flecks this masterpiece was eyes .

Woah his wolf was nice .

'You have a nice wolf ' I told him through the mind link

'You have a bigger wolf than I expected ... And it's really nice too '

My wolf is grey with brown streaks and electric blue eyes , and black paws.

He made a motion with his big furry head which meant to follow him.

We started off at a slow trot ...

He thinks we're slow mystic sounded kinda disgusted oh my poor Wolfie well I guess we need to prove him wrong this big idiot forgot I'm full alpha blood too , I smiled a Wolf like smile and I was off

'What are you doing , oh a race huh you're gonna regret that ' and he was on my tail .

He was FAST but I was slimmer so I was quicker and had more stamina. Plus he wasn't an beta yet , neither was I though.

'Im full alpha you big dope, just like you ,and I'm a female obviously , so I'm smaller than you but bigger than the average wolf so I am quicker and have more stamina .'

'So you're faster than me so what ? I don't care ' all of a sudden I don't hear someone following me I stop and turn around he stopped and sat down . You little toddler . I rolled my eyes as I walked back .

He walked behind a tree and came out only in basketball shorts , I went behind a tree and shifted I put on a tank top and basketball shorts ... That shit when werewolves shift and they don't have anything on ... That's well... Shit, you have your undergarments only . I still don't want that though .

"So what did you want to ask me?" I said

"Um.... I was wondering if you would like to go on a road trip with me to help me find my mate . I will put off being beta duties until I have my mate , I will be unstable without her , I already know it " he said looking down "and now that Justin found his mate he will be accepting the alpha position soon and he needs a beta at his side "

"We leave in a week " Cody said

"Where are we going ?" I asked

"To the surrounding packs I can tell that she's close ."

"Well since you're looking for your mate I might as well look for mine , but it doesn't mean I'll accept him" I said which was true , I maybe would accept my mate , maybe not , I need someone to protect me and josh and someone who will put up with my attitude .

"Ok let's go tell my parents , "

We shifted and ran to the pack house , a few people were up , mainly the border patrol guys and a few others

A group of 5 guys came up to us a brunette with blue eyes and spiked up hair , a brunette with green eyes and spiked up hair ,a blonde with brown eyes and curly hair , a redhead with ice blue eyes and a swipe to the side , and what looked like the leader of the "group" has black hair that fell into his eyes , and oh his eyes were grey and blue and green flecks in them .

"Hey man is this your girly friend ?" The red head said wiggling his eyebrows .

I couldn't help but chuckle

"She's not my girl friend she's my cousin " Cody said smiling and putting his arm around the back of my neck

I shake my head

"Chris I'd like you to meet my friends Lucas, and Jesse Riker or we know them as tweedle dee and tweedle dum twins " Cody said pointing to the two brown headed boys Lucas, and Jesse have brown eyes

"Zach the track runner " he said pointing to the blonde

"Logan or the ginger " he said pointing to obviously the redhead

"And this guy is like my copilot, Connor " the black haired one .

Cody looked like he was about to introduce me ,I thought I would look shy so I spoke up .

"Well if you're done Cody thanks for the intro and all but I think I know my name so , Hi guys I'm Christi , but you guys can call me Chris ." I said .
