every crater, every solar
flare. I would've sunk
knee deep in lunar sands,
burning, burning, my heart —
igniting, but darling,
flames are only sweetest in dreams, and drowning
is only as liberating as waking, believe me,
if i had known, if i have felt you truer,
more real than what you seemed,
i would've chased you through and through
