"Why are there so many damned brands of milk?" Sean muttered to himself, holding three different bottles of semi skimmed milk. Each bottle was the same size, but all were different prices. He dropped the cheapest one into the trolley with a shrug.

He carried on down the dairy aisle and also threw a block of cheese into the trolley. His small shopping list was already getting longer. However, he carried on putting things in the trolley that he didn't need.

Sean started down the aisle which held the chocolatey stuff. He grabbed two packets of Oreos, dismissing the rest of the coloured wrappers. He placed them gently into the bottom of the trolley in order to stop the biscuits from smashing. The fact that he was more protective over his Oreos than he was with recording equipment scared him a little bit.

He walked over to the till to pay. One woman stood in front of him with at least a month's worth of food for a family of four. Sean wasn't usually impatient, but he was also quite hungry which made him irritable. He dug into his back pocket to pull out his wallet. He pulled out twenty euros - that should cover it.

The lady in front of him packed her bags up and gave a swift apology to him for holding him up. He respected that and waved the apology off.

"Don't worry about it." She gave him a smile while walking away with her fully stocked trolley. Sean then stepped forward to take his place at the end of the till. "Good afternoon." He muttered. The woman at the till showed him a little bit of notice.

"Afternoon." She gazed at the food on the belt. "Busy night?"

"Something like that." They both laughed. "What about you? Working late?"

"Not tonight, no. I get off in a couple of minutes." Sean started to pack the things she had scanned away in his carrier bags.

"Nice." He gave a little grin. "How much is all that?"

"Eighteen euros, fifty cents." Sean handed over the twenty euros and patiently awaited his change. The cashier handed over the coins and gave him a wide smile. "Thanks for talking to me. Most customers only want to keep to themselves."

"You're welcome. I talk a little too often, so I might as well get it out." The cashier laughed.

"Hey, would you like to get a coffee when I'm done here? I don't mind buying my own drink."

"You know what? I would love that. I'll meet you at the shop in ten minutes. Just let me take my shopping home. Let me give you my number, just in case I don't show up for some reason." He pulled his phone from his jacket pocket and read his number out.

"Thanks. I'll see you in a bit." She waved at him as he walked away. "Oh, the name's Natalia, by the way."

"Sean."

Sean walked to the coffee shop with his wallet in his back pocket. He wore a little smile, checking his phone quickly.
