Beth hadn't been in touch all day, which worried Sean a little. However, he soon realised that it was the second of March and whatever plan she had was probably in action already.

He made himself a bowl of cereal and leaned back against a counter as he ate. The dishwasher was on, as were the washing machine and tumble drier. He was prepared for the day. All of the laundry and dishes made him feel accomplished. Every so often, Sean had a massive clean up of his home. Today was one of those days. He had also prepared lunch the previous day, so all he had to do was grab the tub from the fridge and tuck in. Today was a good day.

Once he was finished with his cereal, he set off to start recording. He uploaded one of the other videos from the previous day before starting all of his software. Something was wrong. His microphone wasn't recording as it should. Sean threw his head back in frustration with a groan. He was in no mood for fixing equipment, but he needed to get his videos done.

He found out what was wrong - the equipment software had uninstalled itself. He installed it again and then checked if it was finally working. Luckily, it was.

He recorded and edited the content of two games within around four hours. He leaned back in his chair, feeling content with himself. A wide grin grew on his face. He could now relax for the rest of the day, maybe get a few more chores done and eat his pre-prepared lunch. He decided on having lunch before anything else. The pot of pasta in the fridge was waiting for him.

Sean sat at the dining table in the kitchen with his food and his phone beside it. Still no word from Beth. He was starting to worry - maybe something bad had happened to her. Then again, Maria would have phoned to tell him, and there was nothing from her either. Confusion set in and it stopped him in his tracks. He held the fork in mid air, a piece of pasta on the end of it. The pasta tumbled from the cutlery.

Sean then got up from his seat and went towards the living room. He switched the TV on, even though he knew that there wasn't anything on. He went to one of the music channels and winced slightly at whatever the hell was playing. His phone buzzed.

Hey! Sorry I've been gone all day - chores and shit. Shopping, cleaning, all that fun stuff.

Same with me. Except, I didn't need to go shopping today. I went last week.

Grand. I'm super tired though. Might take a quick nap. Not sure.

So, what's my surprise for today?

I'm still not telling you. After my nap - promise.

If you break your promise, I'll come up there.

Fucking try it, mate.

Sean grabbed for the fork for his pasta. He finished his lunch and went into the kitchen to clean up.

Just as he finished filling the sink with hot water and dish soap, the doorbell rang. He furrowed his eyebrows. Was he expecting someone? A package, perhaps? He dried his hands on his jeans as he stalked to the front door. He pulled it open, immediately seeing a phone raised in his face. The camera sound went off and the torch flashed. The owner of the phone then lowered it to inspect the picture.
