Kaya and Niall hate each other. He's her annoying next door neighbor who's made her life miserable ever since she was born. Kaya thinks Niall does it out of enjoyment. Or is it something else?
"Sometimes it's love, sometimes it's...

I went back inside my house after Niall left.
I don't know what I'm going to do to pass time, since it's still a couple hours until my friends are supposed to come over.
Nevertheless, I find things to do. I read a few chapters of my book, watch episodes of my favorite show: How I Met Your Mother, and scroll my Tumblr dashboard.
My mom comes in my room later and makes me realize that it's time to get ready.
"I'm leaving now. If you guys get hungry, order pizza or something. There's a lot to eat in the fridge, too." She says.
"Thanks, mom." I say after her.
I go to the kitchen and take out a package of popcorn. Will one be enough? Maybe I should prepare two. If that's not enough we can always cook more later.
I wait, watching the time on the microwave. The popcorn is popping and I'm just sitting on the counter waiting for it. 1 minute, 59 seconds, 58 seconds—my doorbell rings, making me jump. They're here.
Leaving the popcorn behind, I quickly jump off the counter and rush to the front door. When I open it, I see Cady, Liam, and Zayn standing there. Cady's first, with Liam, and then Zayn behind them. Cady automatically jumps inside towards me, pulling me into a hug.
"Kay!" She cheers. We hug and let go as she allows the others entry inside.
Cady has her blonde hair up in a pony tail, and she has on a blue sweater, making her blue eyes pop. Not literally pop like explode but you know what I mean—oh, forget it. She's just gorgeous to put it simply.
"Hi, Kaya. Did you make popcorn? I smell something good!" Liam says, walking inside with a smile.
I notice that his brown hair is growing back. He got a buzzcut not too long ago and now his hair is long enough to be styled up. Like a mini quiff.
"Of course I did! You asked with a cherry on top, so how could I not?" We both laugh.
Zayn is next, and when he's inside, I close the door behind him. "Hey." He says quietly with a smile. He's always been that mysterious bad boy type of guy, all with his tattoos and combat boots. But he's actually really nice.
"Yo, Zayn." I say in a different voice and he chuckles.
"Westside!" He makes his fingers into a W and I do too. We both laugh, and Liam and Cady are looking at us like we're silly. It's an inside joke between Zayn and I. They'd never get it. You just had to be there when it happened.
I follow them into the living room and the couple automatically flop onto the couch, cuddling with each other already. Oh geez, I'm not ready for this. At least Zayn's here too, so I won't be all by myself; lonely and jealous of those two.
Zayn goes to turn on the TV and I head to the kitchen to grab our snacks. I take out the package of popcorn from the microwave and proceed to throw in the other one to get it cooking. Zayn walks in while I'm putting popcorn salt inside the finished package.
