It's only been a couple minutes since we'd left our cabin and walked down to the beach.
Cady's searching for Liam in the bodies of teenagers who have scattered around. There are about fifty people as of now—if I guess correctly. Its also gotten chilly now that it's night. I had to run back to our cabin earlier to grab a hoodie.
The sun is going down but it's still bright enough to see.
The girls who were lazing out on the beach earlier this afternoon are here too. They stand around a few football players and flirt with them—in their booty shorts and crop tops that show their stomachs.
I shiver at how cold they must be to wear so little clothing. I couldn't do that even if it meant catching a few boys' eyes. My health and well-being are more important.
Cady's expression lights up and that's when I know she's spotted Liam. I look over through the people, and Liam has also spotted her and is walking toward us. He has three cans of beer in his hands and he hands one to Cady and one to me. I accept it but I don't open it yet.
I look around, waiting for Harry to appear behind Liam but he never comes. He's probably with his friends. I sigh.
Just when the couple start a conversation and pop their cans open, I hear a familiar voice behind me. It was a loud shout. Or a squeal?
"LOUWEEEEE!" He shouts, obviously yelling for Louis. My eyes widen at the voice. That voice belongs to only one person and I know too well which person it is.
Cady and Liam didn't hear it or they just didn't care. They're too busy with each other.
I turn around, looking for the person with that irritating unique voice.
Not too far down by the water, I see him. His blond hair is styled up and he's sporting his green hoodie with blue jeans. I can only see his side profile since he's in a conversation with Louis. I'm guessing they're friends.
But when did he get here?
He must've felt my eyes piercing at him, because he turns his head and finds me too. We make eye contact, then he gains a mocking smile and points to me, telling Louis something. Fuck.
I know he's planning to come over to me so I look away, joining Liam and Cady in their conversation. Hopefully he'll change his mind and stay where he is.
"I'm hungry, what do they—" As I ask Liam and Cady, someone taps me three times on my shoulder and I squeeze my eyes shut for a second.
Liam and Cady look confused, and Cady realizing who's behind me, mouths to me silently, "It's Niall."
Frustrated, I mouth back,"I know."
Cady awkwardly goes back to Liam—obviously to avoid Niall—so I turn around.
Niall's standing close to me with Louis right beside him. They both have a can of beer in their hands, and I can smell a strong alcohol scent coming from Niall.
