Chapter three - Why so soon!

Gon POV

I was lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling.
Killua sat on the ground next to the bed, reading the letter he received from the bird's leg.
"What does it say?"
"Come home immediatly."
"Only that?"
"Yeah, it looks pretty important.
They never write a letter."

"So, you're going?"
"Yes, I'm gonna check what they want."
So he's going...
"When are you leaving?"
Killua folded the piece of paper and putted it in his pocket
"Tomorrow morning."
I sat straight up.
"Tomorrow morning! Why so soon?"

I was kinda dissapointed.
I wanted to spend more time with him here, show him every side of the big woods.
Looking at the stalls at the big market.
"The sooner I go the sooner I leave."
"Oh."

I rubbed my nose and looked down.
"Don't worry, I'll come back as fast as I can, and then we're going to catch that enormous fish you were talking about!"
I looked at Killua and smiled.
"Yeah!"

"And this time, I'm gonna hold a wurm!"
"... I don't see why that's so exciting Killua."
"Shut up, I hate wurms but I'm still gonna hold them, that's very badass of me."
"Oh, how brave you are Killua."
We both laughed.

Aunt Mito came in.
"Are you guys still awake?"
"No, we're sleeping." Killua answered.
Aunt Mito smiled and rolles her eyes.
"Very funny sarcasm, go to sleep now you two."
"Haaaaiii."

I was quiet and I couldn't sleep.
I just stared into the dark.
"Killua, are you asleep?"
No answer.
"Have a save trip Killua."
I rolled on my side, with my face to the wall and closed my eyes.
"Thanks."

I opened my eyes and sat straight looking at Killua.
He also sat straight, leaning on his left arm.
"Not sleepy yet?" He said.
"You too?"
"Yeah."
I went to lie down on my back.
"You need to wake up in a few hours, better sleep now."
"Heh, easier said than done."

"...W-wanna lie next to me?"
My heart was pounding harder.
He didn't answer me and I got ashamed!
How could I say that! Stupid stupid STUPID me.
then he stood up and walked towards my bed.
"Slide to the other side."
"Uhm."
I did as he said, and so he came into the bed.

"I never felt the warmth of a person, only their cold dead bodies."
"Huh?"
Killua pressed himself against me.
"You're so warm Gon..."
"Killua..."

I blushed a little.
His body was cold, I wondered if he always was so cold.
But I didn't mind having him against me like this, it made me happy.
I wrapped my arms around him.
"Goodnight Killua."
