ADHD is the most common learning or behavioral disorder that is found often in US kids (Trueit). People have had squabbles over whether it's personality versus an actual disorder (Trueit). There is no specific definition of ADHD that exists (Valkenberg). There is though a list of certain symptoms that can decide if a person has  ADHD (Berger). According to Gephart, the symptoms of ADHD: Are putting themselves down, doing things half way, blurting out answers and  being easily distracted (Gephart) . ADHD falls into two categories, Inattentive and Hyperactive. Along with the two categories, ADHD has been dated back to 1902  and was recognized in 1980 which makes it a recent disorder (Littleman)("There is More"). It has also been called Encephalitis and brain-injured child syndrome (Trueit).
