I am a wolf.
Alone and free.
A renegade killing prey.
See my moonlit eyes.
I see the sun at night.
I know no fear.
I run alone.
A brave heart at last.
Learning the ways.
Of an un-tamed past.
Shoot me down.
But I'll crawl away.
Stab me.
I will rise up.
Rip my soul to shreds.
I will still stand.
You cannot kill the dead.
So do not try.
Look me in the eyes.
Tell me it's alright.
With or without you.
I will still cry.
Howling at the moon.
Singing sad songs.
Is how I remember.
Who I am inside.
Forever a lone wolf.
Strayed from the pack.
Keeping warm.
By my loneliness
I am a wolf.
Hear my silence.
Listen to the sound.
Of the quietness.
Raise the torn flag.
Hold it high.
A banner in the sky.
Sound the battle cry.
Ear splitting screams.
Of unending sadness.
Inside my dreams.
