Even at that young age, a terrible example was set,

That when love is shown, you must push it away.

So she lives in a box with monsters watching her,

Whispering no one will remember you any day.

That lonely night, she sat in silence on her small bed.

Today she had turned 15 and made a promise to herself.

If anyone cared enough to ask her what was wrong,

She would turn them away, for never could she be loved!

So afraid to let someone in, but too weak to keep her ghosts out,

They crawled into her soul and told her many lies.

If only she knew how to rid of the demons inside,

Maybe they moaned, you should commit suicide.

She thought on this for awhile, until her mom came home.

"If my mother says she loves me, I shall not take my life."

As her thumping heart raced, she tripped down the stairs,

Into the loving arms of a man with long brown hair.

He smoothly spoke to her and made her smile,

Then stood, reached for her hand and pulled her into the night!

The stars were shining, she had been released.

From all the demons finally, there moans had ceased.

My daughter he called out to her, we are going home.

"Father," she whispered back. Barely to be heard.

He threw his hand up towards the sky with power in his voice.

Yelled for the heavens to open up! They moved apart with one accord.

She could hear the beauty of the angles voices booming with prestige,

For their God had brought a child out of her remorse.

The angles wrapped her in white robes, and held her in their wings,

Then her new father took her gently onto his great white horse.

With a boom, clap and thunk, the man withdrew his sword.

He yelled "Onward steed to the battle grounds, we have hurting hearts to save!"

They rode fast and hard next to the moon and stars, forward to save the lost.

As they rode through the night, the stars gave her some peace.

They said, "No worries child, your pain is now released."

She took a breath full of fresh air, and looked up to her father.

He smiled and spoke a few words, "I love you my dear child."
