~Say I love you~(Part one)

20 4 1

I was just a girl in a big world, alone and afraid.

Hiding inside crevices, trying to escape the screams.

In a place where ghosts waited, to eat my soul.

All the haunting murmuring beasts, lurking around me.

Every night I would bury my head under my torn sleeve.

Hoping that they would pass me by in the darkness.

Creeping closer with every step, I would whimper...

"Stop! All I desire is simply a friend!"

You might imagine this poor child as a demon possessed girl,

Maybe you would think of her as someone from another world.

But even though ghosts sang her goodnight songs,

Her life wasn't as far from yours and mine as you would of thought.

She was just a normal child with an unusual life,

That sunk deep into her soul and stabbed her like a knife.

Circle after circle, no end to all this pain,

For so long she lived this way that now it seemed okay.

She ran over to her worn out bed, and tried to fall asleep,

Thinking about life and wishing her dad wasn't dead.

The huge clock chimed midnight as her eyes deeply shut,

She dreamed of her childhood hurt and dread.

If you told me that you loved me, and returned my warm hug,

We could be a real family and stick together like glue.

All I wanted was an I love you, even if it wasn't true.

Only a 7 year old girl standing there in little blue shoes.

Wanting a goodnight kiss from mommy and daddy,

Getting a chance to be the best daughter they could imagine.

But only getting a smack when she yelled "I had it!"

Running to her room, crying, screaming, filled with ghosts.
