Your lips broke away from his. His face paint was smudged around his mouth "I love you too Y/N, we will get through this, I promise," he pulled you into a hug surrounding you in embrace. You heard banging on the front and living room door. "Come on!" You grabbed his hand and ran upstairs. You locked your bedroom door and Dan closed the curtains. You turned on the light and sat next to Dan on your bed. His arms snaked around you and you leaned on his shoulder waiting for the mystery girl to come through the door. You grabbed his hand and your fingers interlocked with his. You felt tears flood into your eyes waiting to fall. Was this the end? You began to cry. Dan reassured you by rubbing your arm gently and saying "shhh, it's alright," his voice was shaking so you could tell he was about to cry as well but he was holding the tears in. Deep down you both knew this was the end.
