*Ross's POV*
As I was walking back to Dana's house, I saw a brown haired girl walking towards me.
She was flawless: Beautiful figure, not too short but not too tall, very distinguished features. I was in awe of her. She was wearing a yellow crop top, white shorts and flip flops.
Hey! That must be the girl from the beach because she wore that outfit too!
I stopped in my path to get a better look at her. She did the same. I squinted to try and define her looks a bit more. As I looked more, it became clearer and clearer who this was. I could tell because of her eyes. It was Taylor. My Taylor. My best friend who I haven't seen in years.
She has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen: dark blue with hints of baby blue in them. I've always loved her eyes. And her brown hair is like a fountain flowing down her back...
Wait, Ross, think about what you're saying here!
Do I like Taylor? I had a small crush on her when we were younger, but have those feelings come back?
I still couldn't believe she was standing in front on me.
"Tay?!" I asked, hoping and praying it was her.
"Ross..." She beamed as she ran towards me. When we met, I pulled her into the tightest hug I've ever given anyone in my life.
I wrapped my arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck. We stayed hugging for a while.
"I've missed you so much." I stated, my voice thick as I held in tears of happiness.
"I've missed you too." Taylor replied, her voice wobbling.
I felt water dripping on my shoulder. I pulled away from the hug to see that Taylor was crying.
"Tay, what's wrong?" I asked, my voice full of concern.
"I just...I-I can't believe you're here..." She smiled a watery smile.
"I can't believe YOU'RE here!" I laughed happily. I picked her up and spun her round. She threw her head back and her laughter filled my ears. God, how I've missed that laugh!
I let her down but pulled her into yet another hug. There were more tears, but this time they were from me, not Taylor. I kissed her forehead and lent my chin on her head.
*Taylor's POV*
I felt water droplets land on my head as Ross kissed the top of my forehead.
"Ross, why are you crying?" I asked, still with tears in my eyes.
"It's just so hard to believe..." He began. "I never thought this day would come. You'd never believe how much I've missed you, Tay. I missed having you around so much. Every single day I've thought about you. I think I would've gone crazy if I hadn't seen you today." He stated with tears in his big brown eyes.
"It's been so hard without you." I declared, wiping away a few tears.
"Now you're here, you're not leaving my sight ever again. You mean everything to me, Tay, and I couldn't stand losing you again." Ross said quietly in my ear as he bent down to give me yet another bone-crushing hug.
I smiled as I felt the butterflies in my stomach. Maybe I did have feelings for Ross, and maybe he had feelings for me too....
We released the hug and walked over to the others, both of my arms were around Ross's waist and one of his arms was around my shoulders.
"Look at the lovebirds back together again!" Rydel cooed. Me and Ross just looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"Oh god, we are gonna have to deal with this everyday, aren't we?" Riker fake-complained. I unwrapped one of my arms from Ross and hit Riker on the arm with it.
"Ow!" He pretended to be seriously injured and the boys pretended to brush him down and 'make him feel better'.
God, I've missed this so much.
