Zoey's POV:
I don't know what to do. I'm completely lost without Luke, yet I just sent him away. I watch him close the front door. What is the matter with me? I need to see him. I look at the dining room table and pick up his jacket. I run outside.

"Luke, wait!" I yell to him from outside of the front door. It's pouring rain right now as he reaches for his door handle. He turns to me from his car. We're both soaked by the heavy rainfall. He looks up at me with hopeful eyes. I can't take back needing a break. I do need a break. I just needed to see him again.

"You forgot your jacket." I tell him. His face falls a little. I think he was expecting me to take him back.

"You keep it." He tells me.

"But you love this jacket." I remind him.

"But I love you more." He says and a tear streams down my cheek. I just watch him get into his car. I hear the engine turn on and he looks at me for a second through his windshield before he starts to pull out of my driveway. I wipe my tears and walk inside. I throw Luke's jacket in the dryer and walk to my bedroom. I grab a new clean matching pair of lace bralette panties and walk to the bathroom. I strip down and turn the hot water on in the shower and step inside.

I wash Eli's blood from my skin. I watch as it goes down the drain. Now it's like he never existed. Like he's the boy who never was. Right now, Mark and Danny are probably burying him somewhere in the woods. And poof! Just like that, Eli's existence is buried along with his body.
"I never liked that boy anyhow. He's a beloved star, but he ain't amount much." I hear Mark say to Danny. To which Danny replies,
"pretty boys always win. I guess this one didn't." Ending his statement with a hearty chuckle. I throw my hand over my mouth. Danny is usually the nice one. I quickly finish washing myself and dry off. I get dressed in the short, tight dress Mark makes me wear and walk out to them.
"As if it's not bad enough that you shot Eli, you're going to talk about him as if he wasn't a person?! What is the matter with you?! You have got to be the lowest, bottom of the barrel scumbags that I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. I will not allow myself to sit back and be quiet any longer. From now on, I will not bite my tongue to spare your wrath. I'm not afraid of you any longer!!" I shout my whole speech. The last part is a lie. I'm still terrified of him, but I admire Elijah's bravery and I strive to be like that.
"Good, you're dressed. Let's go film, shall we? Tomorrow, we search for more stars." He says and I stand there, opening and closing my mouth like a goldfish. That's all he's going to say after that?
"Come on, now. It's a livestream and if we keep them waiting too long, we'll lose viewers." He grips my wrist in his hand tightly and drags me to the bedroom.

I snap out of my flashback and breathe heavily. I rinse the shampoo out of my hair and put conditioner in. I lazily drag the razor over my legs to remove any small stubbles, then wash my body. I rinse my hair and my body and turn the shower off. I step out of the shower, dry my body, and slip my panties and bralette on. I'm the only one in the house, so I walk out of the bathroom and to the dryer. I pull Luke's jacket out and put it on. It's warm from the dryer and it smells just like him. I put it on, walk to my room, and climb under the covers. I close my eyes. I'm so exhausted from all of the yelling and crying that I just need a nap.

Luke's POV:
I'm so upset right now that I find myself at a house I never thought I'd return to. I knock on the front door. My heart is pounding in my chest, but I'm too upset to care. The door opens.
"Hello, Luke." Maya says and I sigh.
"I need to release some stress. Can I come in?" I ask her. She smiles and takes my hand, leading me inside.

...

Zoey's POV:
I must have fallen asleep because my mum wakes me up.

"Honey, Alice and Mali are here. Can I send them up?" She asks. I yawn and sit up. She's holding Zahra in her arms.
