I closed the door to my car and walked towards my house, unlocked the door and stepped inside, i looked around and saw that it was quiet
I guess she's asleep
I walked over to the kitchen and placed the food where there suppose to go, my head snapped over to the side when i heard a creak
I would have taken out my gun, but this is my house and the safest place to be, i watched as Ruby emerged from the darkness
"Did you get the milk?" she whispered as if i was about to sell her drugs
"Yeah" i whispered back for some fucking reason
"Goodie! Wheres my bottle?" she squealed and ran over to me
Bottle?
"Why the fuck do you need a damn bottle, your a grown ass girl" i asked
"Its easier" she shrugged
"Well i didn't get one, so drink it out of a cup" i said as i pulled down a cup and filled it half way
"What are you doing" she asked as i capped the milk
"I poured you milk"
"Not enough" she grumbles and glared at the cup, my lips twitched and i uncapped the milk and filled it to the top
"Happy?"
"Yes!" she squealed
I turned around and put away the rest of the food, i went to walk away but saw Ruby look at me expectantly with her milk untouched
"What" i snapped
"Aren't you going to drink with me" she asked
"Hell no, when your done, head to the guest room and sleep" and with that i walked away
I didn't missed the look of hurt that crossed her face, but i ignored that

I woke up to my bed depressing, I'm a light sleeper, i can wake up to fucking rats running around, i opened my eyes and saw a little form crawling from the foot of the bed towards me
I debated whether to pull out my gun and check whether it was a demon crawling in my bed
She tried to be as quiet as she can be as she pulled the covers back and settled next to me, she shoved her head under my chin, i held back at throwing her across the room when my teeth smashed together
